I'm a bit confused. Is the problem that people think the skull helm doesn't look like a hyana skull? Or am I not understanding the issue?

It probably shouldn't look like a hyena skull as it would most likely be the skull of some other creature the mount's owner killed and not the skull of one of the hyena's mates.

I like it. It makes me think of something a tribal gnoll might ride Epic Hogger mount?

Yeah I...don't really think it's supposed to be a hyena skull? I mean it has horns and tusks (not that anything's ruled out in Azeroth beasts)

Either way, I love the look of it myself.

I just don't like the skull shape and people where saying it's similar to a hyena's and I said I don't think it is at all

I really do think it looks terrible on it tho XD

But the idea of gnolls riding hyenas is awesome tho. I'd pay to see that :3

I agree the skull head armor on the 3D model has not translated same to the original concept shown, but it's also something than can be tweaked if needed or preferred.



Again, if you saw the original animated, it would look different again, and I suspect in a much better way.

Some mounts come in both armored and unarmored versions, if that would make cow happy. I'd like it both ways (hyena pun not intended). In the concept art pose, I can't help but think of it as "slavering hyena mount". I would collect 9999 ears for one of these.
