On Casdia, my orc huntress(soon to be a dwarf again):


Tovaunni - My baby. His original name was Wuff, of all things. He then was Fayde and then Tajaunni, but was renamed when I faction changed.


Larsha - Casdia's pain in the butt corehound. It took many, many tries to convince this stubborn PITA to join her, and he still doesn't listen half the time. He loves grabbing extra mobs. And attempting to eat Tacoma.


Tacoma - a feisty red crab from the coast of Durotar. He was a little thing when she found him, but has grown into a ferocious crustacean of epic proportions! This, however, is not enough to convince Larsha that he is not tasty with butter sauce. The two squabble constantly.


Zaskari - Rp'd as a child of Loque'nahak and Har'koa. Zaskari is a mischievous girl. She loves to get into trouble at the earliest opportunity for her own amusement.


Zukaunni - Is rp'd as the spirit form of my Rak'shiri by the same name that Casdia had since level 57 in Vanilla. Perhaps because of this, I'm actually more bonded to my SparkleCat(A.K.A. Gondria) than my Loque. I stumbled across her while I was kind of half-halfheartedly checking her spawns, and now I adore this cat as much as my ghost wolf.

Now for Antonietta, my night-elf huntress:


Emberkin - Unlike Larsha, Emberkin is extremely puppyish and very obedient. Rp-wise, Antonietta discovered him in a puddle of lava while traveling through the burning steppes, and raised him to be her pet.


Voidrage - The very second(first was that random one) oil-stained worg, and the one I figured out the secret on. Will likely stay even if he looses the oil coat. He is very one-track minded and enjoys battle immensely.


Byron - Formerly Humar, he was Antonietta's first rare camp. He is named Byron to match Antonietta's name. You'll know where it's from if you like romance novels and have read Christine Feehan's Dark series.


Maiza - I finally hit 74! Which means I can camp for Arcturius. I tamed him(formerly a grizzly bear) to test out the bear animations to see if I'd like them on Arc. I love them! He rears up when he growls just like a druid tank! I'll either end up keeping him, or he'll be taken over by Arc's skin. The name is staying though, <3 Baccano! (everyone should watch Baccano, it is the most awesome(and slightly confusing) anime ever!)

Fifth slot is revolving atm, though currently held by Shy-rotam.

I currently have the whitish Devilsaur, Loque'nahak, Skoll and Sian'rotam. I'm trying to re-get Arcturis. Long story short, I abandoned a couple of pets when Soriid then Haarka were "transformed" into the Collosuses in the beta.

I currently have 2 hunters.

Recently regained, (earlier today actually) Wispquill, Level 76, BM Troll (Female) Hunter

Stable: Murktusk - Oasis Snapjaw. She was originally one of the Eversong turtles, but I kept going through a color swap idea for turtles, so she's blue now. For some reason, I can never truly let Murktusk go, I'll always nag myself to re-tame her. May go back to her original green.

Pebblewheat - Dishu. Tamed on a whim actually. ^.^' I may not keep her, unless Dishu vanishes come Cata.

Ridgevein - Tyrant Devilsaur. Had to re-tame, due to she was gone when Wispquill 'woke back up'. Failed the first tame, missed pulling her into the frost trap. ^.^' Second time was perfect, she walked right into the trap as I started to tame.

Trying to regain her old 'team' from which I really can't remember what Wisp had. ^.^'

My baby Hunter: Talrahnor, Level 11, BM Night Elf (Female) Hunter

Ishnei - Ice Claw bear. A bit of a scaredy bear, always runs back to her master after a kill, for fear of the creature(s) waking back up to keep attacking. Seems to be even more scared around boars, won't even eat boar meat.

Erahandath - Prowler. Not really much of a personality from her just yet. First tame was actually a massacre. ^.^' Stormwind guards killed the first Prowler I tried to tame, but I ran a bit farther from them and gained Erahandath after a while.

On Nanyana I have...
Usva, Ghost Saber I've had since level 19 Critter, Silithid Ravager I use for PvP Krush, King Krush to accompany me in Heroics and Raids Loki, Oily Worg for those times when I need a wolf Nani is currently lacking a Tenacity pet, so I can have an empty slot for testing pet stuff. Whenever I need one, I'll just go and tame a lv80 Disembodied Jormungar.

Azubuike, Takk the Leaper for dps in groups Ujarak, Cranky Benj for extreme soloing Lux, Bloodsting for added dps utility in groups The last two spots in Subira's stable are open for now, mostly because I can't decide which of her old pets I should get back. I'm also hoping to tame the Oily Worg on her too, although my chances of finding someone willing to help are rather slim.

I realize this topic is a bit old, but I thought it would be fun to contribute. ^_^ I'll be supplementing the stock photos with actual screenshots after maintenance is up~

KaptainKush is my obligatory oil-stained wolf that I tamed just to be in on a rare glitch since I missed all the other ones (I'm looking with envy at YOU, all you Hydra owners). His name is silly because I named him after the ally that helped me tame him (I'm Horde so it was a bit harder for me to find someone who would help). I raid with him sometimes, but mostly he just chills in my stable:

Situation is my tank pet, and he's kind of special. I actually passed him on my way to pick up a silithid and he clicked with me for some reason. I realize he's probably the easiest worm in the game to get, but I love him anyway. ^_^ Originally I think he's from Jersey... *silently hopes someone gets the joke*

I love the gold feathers and am just a huge fan of birds in general. ^_^

Kegan - Snagged out in the Barrens with the help of a little belf hunter. He's been with me since he was 16 and I was 40-ish. My favorite baby, he'll be with me until the day I log out for the last time.

Drooly - Formerly The Beast, Drooly has been a favorite of mine since exotic beasts were announced. Even though he's been in and out of my stables a few times since then, I think he's found a permanent spot now.

Charlie - Like many hunters, I wanted a spirit beast since their discovery in the Wrath beta. After three months of off-and-on camping, I finally found him! Unfortunately, guildies may never stop asking me where candy mountain is, or if he's been to heaven.

Tesla - After finding Charlie, I was satisfied. I had one spirit beast, I was determined I wasn't going to become one of -those- hunters, who camps all the spirit beasts just because they can (not that there's anything wrong with that, but I had needs for my precious stable slots!). My will weakened when I was mining in Storm Peaks and she spawned right beside me. Almost like fate or something. She's neat, so whatever.

Temil - Taking up my current fifth stable slot is Temil, once Arcturis. Tamed entirely on a whim, replacing my beloved Jerk. I'm kind of digging him, but the nagging "do you really NEED three spirit beasts? (no)" vibe keeps coming back to me... He may or may not be sticking around.

Ashiena: 80 Troll Hunter - Winterhoof - US

Kaleet:

Almost three weeks of camping and I finally found her. Kaleet is a variation of some word that means Kindness. When I tried to tame her I hit call stabled pet then got into combat and closed the window. I had to wait 5 minutes to get a pet I would abandon (Loque). Another hunter came down and asked if I was going to tame her and I said yes. He waited with me for the full five minutes, watched me tame and grats me.

Mali:

Camped way back when when I was leveling. Started at 23 and finished at 48 when I finally found him, which is about a week real time. Though I don't share as close a bond with him than some of my other pets, Mali is dear to my heart and I would never let him go. <3

Boss:

I spent around 600g in preparation so I could tame The Beast. I wanted him for the boss tags, they are so neat! I tried over and over and over again with no success, until my boyfriend finally helped me on his shaman, then I got him first time! I love this guy

Ecko:

The newest and most exciting addition to my stables! I love him more than any other pet, simply for his looks. He will never replace Doof (my brown devilsaur), but my big green meanie is already turning heads and worming his way into my heart. It's my hunters biggest accomplishment because I solo tamed him, and he's my favourite model in game. It was fate!

I also got lucky with Skoll, getting him on a fly by. Another one of my favourite models, I love my blue lightning monster. His name doesn't suit him at the moment, but as soon as I find a suitable name for him I'm sure we will grow much more attached.

Daenak - 13 Troll Hunter - Nessingwary-US

Shirva:

A bright orange kitty cat suits my feisty troll boy any day. Most of his pets will match with Ashi's because they are brother and sister and I kind of think of their stables as interchangeable. Shirva is of course named after Shirvalla, a Loa.

Artemis:

Technically one of Ashiena's pets but Arty is staying with Daen for now, and she is quite happy to do so!

Don't have a fancy way to be able to use WoWmodelviewer and I don't that much like hotlinking, so I out of a whim just flew around Northrend with my current pets and set down to take a screenie.

To keep it short: My specs are mainly just MM/SV, I occasionally lol-spec to BM just to walk around with Jínx. Nomster is my pvp pet of sort, until I can manage to find another one fit for the use. Häx is my tank/leveling pet although he's been stuck around 78 for a long time. And finally... Anma, who I've used for raiding to differ from the guilds other hunter pets.
I used to have Arcuturis, but I never got around to level the teddy up from the taming ding. Also, I never actually looked for him, just flew over in BM spec, put Jínx away and tamed.
EDIT: just on a whim I picked up two friends, a priest and a shammy and 25 haste potions and we rode to Blackrock Mountain Wild guesses who joined my pack on the 7th try?

I hope no one minds, but I really enjoy seeing peoples' stables for some reason, and my own line-up has changed a lot since I last posted, so I thought I'd bump this thread up~

First of all is Dionysius, my newly tamed King Krush:

I want to see more stables. :O Even if you've already posted... how have your stables changed since then?

I love seeing everyone's stable too, hehe.

Beast ~ My ill-tempered badass corehound. Boss tags or not, he's staying with me forever. Love the grumbly guy.


Azzam ~ The cat that aggroed his way into my heart. Most surprising tame I've ever found myself bonding with, he's a keeper for sure. =)


Rancid ~ The very first new beast I rushed out to tame when WotLK went live. Though he's come and gone a few times, I've realized I can't bear not having him in my stables, so he's on the team permanently. ^^


Xerxes ~ Tamed on a whim, this purple people eater was a pleasant addition to my stables and I've really clicked with him. I just can't get enough of his gorgeous colours.


Skorn ~ Last but not least, a devilsaur that I'm sure needs no introduction, Skorn. ^_^ Through thick and thin he's been with me the longest and is my closest pet.

Apologies for double post, but I figured I may as well do the same for my Troll hunter.

Legba ~ A fearsome hyena named after the Loa of speed and trickery, he's Gazini's foremost pet for ravaging the Alliance in PvP.


Damballah ~ The serpent Loa, he's had a few skin changes and will probably have more in Cataclysm, but he'll always be an iconic pet for her.


Sobo ~ Named for the Loa of strength, this crocolisk accompanies Gazini through tough battles and solo questing.


Bokor ~ His name is a title for a Voodoo sorcerer, he's an intelligent friend who often keeps Gaz company.


Jakuta ~ And finally Jakuta, the African god of thunderstorms and lightning. Originally Azzere, his brilliant crimson colouring always stands out.

Cerah's favourite pet, she first met Beauty when she was a hatchling and Cerah was just an Orcling in the Barrens. Named for her habit of constantly preening her feathers.

My current raiding and heroics buddy. He fulfills a childhood dream of mine to have a pet t-rex.

My sweet, purple, two-headed pseudo-dragon. He loves to eat allies.

Daggoth



After the fall of the second Overmind, a certain Cerebrate decided to hide out on a primitive, backwater planet (with its own Terran population --figures, they're everywhere!), infusing his essence into a local form he found quite confortable. It's doubtful that he'll be able to keep up the charade for too much longer -- the green-skinned alien that has attached herself to him is smarter than even her planetmates give her race credit for.

Mine have changed a bit lately, too!

1) Apollyon - Rhyela's favorite. He's got an ego and a bad temper, but is fiercely devoted to Rhyela (the one thing he loves more than himself). He will never EVER be released.
2) Naphthali - Rhyela's second favorite. She's the over-protective but gentle broodwidow from ZG that skittered her way quite unexpectedly into Rhyela's heart. She'll never be released.
3) Rainey - A pet I wanted for several years but never got around to it until just recently. I've had to release her a few times to make room for other things, but she's finally a permanent resident in the stables. She's very intelligent and always looks like she's planning something devious, but she's a great friend.
4) Skaza - The must-have for raids. I probably wouldn't have tamed a wolf had it not been for the fact I went SV to help with raid damage. Snarler spawned right in front of me, so I thought it must be fate. He's more of a serious canine.....for the most part. This candid shot caught him dancing! I plan to hang onto him since he's been such a reliable and loyal friend.
5) Piandao - My most recent tame, previously Azzere. I have always loved wind serpents, with this red and the white being my favorites. It seems Azzere is gone in Cataclysm, so I couldn't miss the opportunity to get him. He's named both for the weapon (derived from his surname "The Skyblade"), and Master Piandao in Avatar who was one of my favorite characters, who conveniently enough was a resident of the Fire Nation, and Azzere uses fire spells as a mob in the wild! He is a permanent.

It's cool to see so many others appreciating the beauty of Azzere as well. I actually prefer the older wind serpent models over the more recent alien-like ones.
