What pets are currently in your stable?

For me, I have....

Ishura, formerly King Mosh. My gorgeous Devilsaur.


Khaliya, formerly Sin'Dall, my 'Tiger Queen'.


Anakawe, also known as Annie, my 'coydog', the RP pup of my friend's coyote and another character of mine's wolfhound.


Brute, formerly an Ursoc Mauler, but now Quin's big, lazy, but steady protector.


I have a slot left over. I was thinking of adding a PvP pet for that, such as an Eagle.

At this moment in time my stables currently are:


Skorn, formerly Tyrantus, my iconic black Devilsaur who's been with me the longest and is the pet I hold dearest to me. ^^


Beast, also known as The Beast, is my great drooling lava hound of awesomeness that I'll never let go of.


Xerxes, formerly Nuramoc (and originally named Xoltron but I changed it), the flying purple people eater I've come to adore.


Azzam, that darned Dreadsaber that worked his way into my heart despite all odds and is now a permanent part of my family.


Zeke, a teal Warp Stalker that I gave in to and am giving a 'test run' on. He's wonderful and will assuredly console me should Gezzarak not return in Cataclysm.

Fionita

Rupeé, my first pet. I have wanted to try out one of the bronze scorpions since I've read Mania's topic about them. This wily scorpion is just awesome and gorgeous.


Mystify, my second pet. My first toughest tame among all I've faced in my life.


MasaMuné, my third pet. I had to ask assistance with a guildie when I was at level 21 because I only had a temporary pet with me, I just wanted a blue wind serpent, and I know they're elites everywhere. Yet, we both got the achievement anyway after I got MasaMuné.


Araga, my fourth pet. One that didn't prove too difficult for me. I've always wanted her for her uniqueness and stunning appearance.


Ariana, my fifth pet. Was formerly known as Olm the Wise. Name and gender changed as soon as she was tamed. Gorgeous bird.



Agnas

Consuela, my black and red spider. Wasn't Krethis nor Sri'skulk but the queen of the spiders inside the mine at the undead's beginning area. Plus, her name came from Eight-Legged Freaks. Makes a lot of sense since that queen of mutated spiders lived in a mine.


Fritz, my pink tallstrider. I know that she's really a he when she was Mazzranache, but I still think he's a she for the color. I had to come up with something kinda crazy for a name for her.


Antares, my bright-blue scorpion. My most beloved pet of them all. Need I say more?


Charmeleon, my red wind serpent, formerly known as Azzere. I gave him a Pokemon name because he spouted flames at me while I was taming him, just like the way Ash's Charmeleon shot flames at him a few times. The name popped up right when I was taming and couldn't turn back for a different name. I released my other blue wind serpent for him since Masa's safe with Fio.


Casper, my ghostly kitty. He appeared after only looting the first of the cat statues. I replaced my other Araga with him since I know Araga is safe with Fionita.



Delinari

Calamity, my first pet. He's the barking puppy from Mulgore. Was a pain as a level 10 to travel all the way from Darkshore to Mulgore just to get him, but it was worth it.


Eclipse, my gorgeous blue moth. As much as she looks the type that doesn't fight well, she can pack quite a punch, especially when Serenity Dust kicks in.


Bartok, my third pet. He's the rare white bat from all the way in Tirisfal. A much bigger pain to travel to than it was to get to Mulgore. This is my first time using a bat, but after some dungeon runs lately, he's proven to be very useful, especially with his stun.



Tigresia (my newest hunter in Skywall)

Hobbes, my first pet. Getting a tiger was the first thing in my mind when I was making my new troll hunter, and I made her hair color the exact same color. (I could try a theme of blue and/or orange pets.)

Shaon's Stables

Ramas: a Cursed Offspring of Har'koa. He was once a black leopard with white spots. Shaon liberated him when she was able to tame her own pets, choosing to hunt a pet in the forests of TelDrassil. When her level became appropriated, Ramas 'evolved', if you will, into the CoH model. Ramas is still Shaon's first pet and will always be at her side.

Morok: Formerly King Mosh, this rusty colored devilsaur was a major tame achievement for Shaon. Though Morok began humbly as a tyrant devilsaur, when a guildie spotted Mosh and Shaon flew out to check, she felt this urge to try for the tame. It took guildie help and four tries and then Mosh became hers, striding under his new name, Morok. He has a ruling place in this hunter's heart.

Deva: Aotona. Spotted while on a taxi-flight, then hastily sought. Originally tamed as a why not, but she grew on me. Her battle squawk made me giggle and her ability to disarm was nifty. For a long while she was just The Bird, and then I finally found a good name for her. I'd have a hard time letting her go.

Khaldun: Loque'nahak sends a lot of hunters into what can grueling searches. Thanks to a run through Dalaran or some other city, he was cached. So when taking Morok hunting for experience in Sholazar one afternoon, Shaon happened to turn around and find this cat hunting her (or so it seemed). A hasty flight to Nesingwary's camp and a frantic flight back found the cat still waiting. A jittery tame later and Khaldun was stalking at Shaon's side.

Jasper: Shaon's roster once included Gondria but something felt off. True she has a lot of wonderful pets, but a solid tank was needed. Warp stalkers have always been a favorite of mine, so Gondria was sent on hiatus and Jasper joined the ranks. A white warp stalker out of Terrokar Forest, Shaon choose the one with the most pep. Jasper tried to bite her so she tamed him. He's gaining levels well and should be a proper 80 soon. Favorite past times include, biting enemies, warping, biting enemies, eating fruit and fish, and getting his chin scratched.

Quick tutorial on adding the thumbnail pet images to a post. ^^

First of all, the easiest page to obtain the images is the Gallery of Pets page that lists all of them:

Now, within the reply box on the forums here you'll see a number of options just above the Message box. ^ Towards the right hand side you'll see a button that says Img. That is the button that puts an image code in your post. The code looks like this:

The text where I say 'Picture url here', the URL is the address or location of the image you want. It's very easy to get this. On the Gallery of Pets page, right click on the pet image you want and in the drop-down menu select 'Copy Image Location'. (I use Firefox, not sure if IE is different). That image location is now copied.

Go back to your reply box and hit Ctrl+V to paste that URL. You'll get something like this:

If you highlight that address, then click the [Img] box, it will place the image code tags around that.

Sara's stable is final until Cata unless they change the void wolf:
This is Avalon. He's my lucky bear - I got an itch to log on and check, and he spawned in right under me as I flew up. <3

Arashi. I never wanted a spirit beast as much, but sadly my ghost teddy has taken over. I love Arashi, but I have to remind myself to stable Avalon from time to time.

Mizu. I love this gal. S'all I can say.

Well, this isn't accurate. Djinn is covered in oil. Phyra and her husband helped me tame him, and I think tame 10 or so was successful. He's not quite leveled yet and I don't still know what his personality is like, but I imagine it's very 'meh'. Djinn means a dark angel (or genie) which is neither good nor evil, so I don't think he'd be overly protective, but he won't stand idle if someone's hurting Sara either.

This is Atha. I leveled like crazy to hit 80 before they disabled them, and she's never leaving my side. She's an awesome tank (except that time her talents bugged and she became as sturdy as a wet kleenex).

On Aoani, I have these fellas:
Garnet. I tamed her for the pet challenge thread and really like her. I actually had given up camping for her and went and tamed the WC blue one, so now Aoani has a pair.

Lazuli. He's either Garnet's partner or sibling, not sure yet.

Mizu, cause I'm nuts for her.

Aoi. I tamed her after reading Mania's blog post about them, and I must say, she's great. Loads of personality and beautiful colouring. Another pet I wouldn't have thought to tame... Love her.

Hokori. Ryno was heading to Bloodmyst to tame a moth or a ravager, so I just tagged along for the fun of it and well, she stuck. I never liked the moths for Sara, but she looks great with Aoani. Also, she snaps up aggro like a champ and her dust skill is amazing. AH! MA! ZINGGGG!

Just as I was looking for something to do

Akzel

Sigyn, having a bit of fun climbing trees with Akz. My first spirit beast tame, I was shaking so bad when my macro hit on her as I flew my second fly over of the gorillas. I had just leveled my mining up so I had something to do while camping and was doing a quick pass over the spawns on my way to Icecrown for a break.


Astrild, "sneaking up on a draenei hunter sitting under a tree". (Note: no draenei were harmed after this pic was taken, this was actually from when Astrild belonged to my draenei before I decided she was better off with Akz).


Sibilja...no fun screenshots yet =(


Kara...also no pics of from in game.


She also has Haarka for the brain bug glitch...but since that's a no go I'm gonna have a revolving door stable slot to play with for a bit before deciding who gets to stay before cata.



Shadowdance
Hati hanging out with Shadow outside the exodar.


Managarmr (Hati's mom) inside the exodar (I was trying to catch the lightning on the crystals in the back for about 10 min before getting one this good). One of my favorite tames because she was the first one to spawn right in front of me...just as I was about to go check the other spots too


Cathetel (soon to be Mist)...another no screenshot pet.


Norvi in the wild. (Given to Shadow in a pet swap with Akz.)


Liv...white wolf I'm holding on to for a bit of fun...might replace with an oil stain wolf if Shadow hasn't done the quest yet.

Tinder, my Springpaw Stalker. I was bored one day, and I wanted a new, exotic pet, so I braved EPL at level 47 and after some confusion about how to get into the Ghostlands, I found and tamed this guy. He's still with me at 80 and I've never even thought of releasing him. He's Ras's big brutish defender, and I see him as a rather massive, graceless beast that has seen too many fights to worry about looking sharp or running silently. One of his eyes is crossed by a scar, so you can see the surface of the eye.


Sargeant, my pretty Scarlet Tracking hound, tamed at 37. The only help I had while taming him was a big stupid gorilla named Bananas. At one point during my leveling through Northrend I released him, but I realized my mistake once 80 came and re-tamed him. I'll never be letting him go again. I don't really think of him as a dirty hyena - more of a mischievous, rather vengeful, and slightly sadistic dog. I hope that he doesn't end up turning into a jowlbeast, although I do plan on taming one...


Thorium, my OCJ. I camped this guy for weeks. He's a cute big fuzzball and is my second dungeon wolf. I think of him as a big, wise, gentle beast with a very easygoing, quite attitude.


Copper, my barky Prairie Wolf. He's the wolf I pull out when the dungeon isn't going well, because his barking always cheers me up. He's a happy, good humored, somewhat hyper dog with a vicious streak.


My unnamed Oil-stained Wolf. He's not like in the picture, he's, well, oil stained. I tamed him just the other day, when my friend got the quest on his only alliance character. He patiently let me time the tames. I haven't leveled him yet, and he is still unnamed and without a personality. Still, I like him, he's my new unique wolf. Can you tell I like special wolves?


Vallrok has four versions of Faron, his wolf. It's a RP thing that is rather complicated. In the end, though, Faron can change elements and therefor shapes.

This is "Normal" Faron. He's actually in control of an element in this shape - earth. (There aren't any good "earth" wolves. This bothers me.) He's always the same personality wise - snarky, sadistic, cruel, control-freak, just overall nasty.


This is Lightning Faron. He, GASP, controls lightning.


Fire Faron. You can guess what he controls.


Ice Faron.

Gezz is named such because of what a hassle she was to tame! I was a brand new level 80 at the time, with crap for gear. Whenever she would warp, I would get stunned and the tame would stop. I think that's what happened at the time, can't really remember, but for some reason the tame kept stopping. Anywhoo, I got my friends to help me on their rogue and pally and together they stunlocked her until I could finish the tame. Lemme tell you, I was so excited! Right as the tame finished she warped and knocked me down and for a splitsecond my heart stopped. But then the gold flash went off, and she was mine!
