Ok looks like KC got nerfed, but the pets scaling got buffed or something. BM is still viable if these numbers are correct, because I'm seeing very high crits and normals from my pet's base abilities.

Hi this is my first time posting here, but it really seems like there alot of dedicated beta testers here working hard to keep the wow hunter community informed about whats going on with us/are pets in beta, and I wanted to say thank you.

I also wanted to ask if there is any chance that one of you beta testers would be kind enough to test the new cammo changes, im curious 1. if we can still stealth around mobs, 2. whether or not cammo stil grants aoe immunity, and 3. how easy it is for mele classes to find us / break us out of cammo. so if anyone in the beta has a minute to check these changes out and post a reply here (huge bonus points for a video ) and wouldn't mind doing so it would be greatly appreciated.

I personally can't testify to #3, but the first two seem to be "yes"es. At least from what I've heard!

I have not yet. The realms are EXTREMELY unstable. They keep crashing, and everytime I dismiss pet and/or logout, my pet's talents reset, which make it very hassling. =(

But the BM numbers are pretty awesome lol

Any more updates? There's not much on EJ yet either.

The nerf was going to come. It was laughable at the damage we could do. If anything it would of been a royal mess for pvp... I won every duel with my pet doing over half the damage with 40k KC crits. Only prot warriors bothered me, but even they got a small kick this last patch.

Camo was also too good to be true in its previous form. You were invincible to attacks while you could set down traps, disengage and open up. We had too much control, with extra pet damage, something had to give.

I will admit the nerf seemed harsh, but the damage output still looks reasonable.

Not yet. It's very hard to test right now. Pet talents keep wiping themselves about everytime I mount/dismount/logout and a lot of Hunters are actually stuck and can't move.

We might have to wait til Blizzard puts out an emergency patch here in a few days or something, cause this makes it hard to test anything @_@
