I've mentioned that one so much I once got a reply something like "you and your flaxen kitty" The problem is, of course, it requires the art team to actually generate a version with the saddle missing. I don't know how they do such things, but I would have guessed they'd have created the skin without a saddle and then added the saddle layer, so maybe there's already one laying about in their files. Of course that's sheer guesswork.

Oh poor Noah, how he does put up with us! xD Yes, that's exactly how I hope such things are generated, so the creation of an unsaddled kitty will hopefully not be too much trouble - hence the continued mentions!

As for icekitty....I still see said kitty appearing in a snowy area of some sort, which Terokkar is not. So there's probably room for it somewhere, just not out there, at least not IMO.

I actually had an old guildie who was after this pretty boy when BC first hit. His main pet was King B and that cat was his everything, well poor dude had a tift with a lady friend of his one night and when he logged on for some hunter Rn'R his pet was no where to be found. Little worty dird had logged on to his account and abandoned him. He re-tamed King B but never clicked back with him, wasn't the "same" cat. So when he saw Hawkbane he knew that he had to have him, like his long lost buddy was back. Guy leveled as fast as he could so he could get him, saved up enough gold for flight training and a flying mount for the tame, and started camping. He went at it for about a month before news came around that he had been removed. I don't think he really ever played his hunter seriously after that, I don't even think he plays anymore but I still remember what a loss it was for him.

So nice to hear that he'll be coming home after so long.

Wow, I'm so sorry that happened to your guildie. I never had any love for King B, but that's still a horrible thing to have happen to his pet. I hope karma gets her and good if it already hasn't by now. >_> I didn't even get to go to Outland when I learned he'd been removed, but what happened here is far worse than what I went through. I hope he'll try playing again in the future, and if he does, this will hopefully be a nice surprise for him.

Even I've been guilty of forgetting about him for periods of time over the years of playing, but there was always this nagging feeling in the back of my mind whenever I'd try to go to Skettis on Toph for Skyguard rep even though during those times, I couldn't remember the exact cause of it. I think quite a lot of people forgot about Hawkbane, players and higher-ups alike, which makes me more glad that I was able to overcome my shyness just enough in order to make this thread.

Nothing's been done yet, but it's at least been noticed and hope has been given, which makes her troubles worthwhile.

Seconded! I'd totally forgotten this cat until you mentioned him, but then it all came flooding back. Thanks for bringing him back into the forefront!

You're welcome, all of you! I just can't believe that this is real. That it's not a dream, y'know? I've hoped and waited for so, so long to finally be able to meet this cat who's been such a huge influence to me. I couldn't have done it without those of you who posted on this thread abd helped it to gain notice, though. From the bottom of my heart, I'm very, very grateful for this.

I'm crying here. Such a wonderful thread. Sorry I haven't been around last week or so, but you would of had my support if I was. I'm so glad Noah heard ya and Hawkbane will eventually be back.
