I have finally reached my goal on my undead hunter!

I created Spiders with the intent to tame one of each spider model in the game. Before Cataclysm, that was 22 models. With the inclusion of the new lava spider models there are 27...however! I have decided to freeze Spiders at level 80. Northrend is my favourite content in the game, and WotLK was my favourite expansion. I realized it would be fun to have a character stay in that era permanently, and I've really been enjoying running the Wrath dungeons again. Plus, keeping her at 80 means I could stick with my original plan of taming just the spider models that existed when I created her, and not have to worry about the lava ones since there wouldn't be room for all of them anyways. I have Sabbath on Vephriel in any case, and that's fine with me. ^^

The last spider I had to tame was Terror Spinner, the rare in Zul'Drak. Though there were identical models at the same level in Icecrown, I had to go after Terror Spinner specifically. It was my final goal, and he proved to be quite exasperating. xD After disappearing right out from under my nose about 5 days ago I finally tracked him down last night and completed Spiders' stables.

There are so many beautiful spiders, it's hard for me to settle on just one for each of my characters! I think you've just inspired me to get a Mirk look-alike for my worgen...or maybe an October look-alike...hmm...

Yay! I have a fondness for every single spider model. Even the ones that seemed drab or plain at first have some really fantastic details. This character has definitely made me apprciate all of them. ^^

Glad you're inspired to try out a few models! I hoped that taking screenshots of them all might help some people come to love them, especially the lesser used ones.

The bone spiders really have wonderful colours. The green eyes and pale green accents on Mirk look lovely against the rich brown of the body, and October has this beautiful purple shading on his underside that's hard to capture but really cool to see in game.

/cheer! I love all your spiders! They have such neat names, too. I don't think I can pick a favorite. They're all so lovely in their own way! :3

Named after the character Lydia Deetz from Beetlejuice.

Also, October...is he named that for his "halloween" colors? Cause my mind added "rust" to his name cause he looks rusty and there's the Type O Negative album October Rust. Considering the music you like, you probably know of it lol

Ahahaha, I never thought anyone else would make that comparison, but yes I was listening to Type O. It was mostly his Halloween colours, but I totally had that album in mind.
