Holy Tyrael Inspired Mail Set - Ideas/Suggestions?

Looking for a Holy Paladin/Tyrael kind of transmog set for my Shaman IF possible - not sure it is since most of the respective gear would be cloth/plate. But maybe someone knows of some things that I didn't think of. ^^

Any ideas are welcome! Thanks a bunch =D

I can only transmog mail items unfortunately... that's where my problem finding things lies. :( Lol

Then may I refer you to Veneratus' blue and gold "faux plate" look from his chainmail days: Subject: Tauren Holy Paladin Lvl 38 - Raven Themes - Veneratus

You'd probably want to replace the shoulders (in my case I diverted from that set with grunt's shoulders, but there is a shoulder model that was designed to go with the rest of the armor that's fairly easy to obtain).

It seems to me that the t12 set (http://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=593) is what's closest to Tyrael's armor--based on my image searches.

http://images.wikia.com/diablo/images/d/d1/Tyrael1.jpg is what I'm basing that on.

http://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=980 might also work, but I'm not sure it's available?

Edit: I just re-read that it's gotta be mail. Give me a few to look through the mail gear. ;) I'm leaving these here in case anyone with pallies want the Tyrael look.

Edit 2: Looks like you might be able to do something on the basis of the t12 set: http://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=659 ?

If the mail requirement is due to being below lvl 40 (which is when paladins switch from chain to plate), that will rule out anything ilvl 378... :)

It's not for a plate wearer at all. ;)

Yeah I read the shaman thing but my brain was so stuck on the idea that it was for a pally that I was like "t12 with pally wings will totally work!" lol.

Okie dokie, now to make a relevant post to the OP.

I opted to go for the Tyrael part and did my best to recreate a mail set that relates to his armor. Granted, it's kind of hard without being able to mix plate and cloth, but hey, if it was easy, it wouldn't be a challenge. Anyway, I kept the gold colors muted because a lot of the gold gear in WoW just tends to look gaudy to me, and Tyrael's armor just doesn't seem gaudy. Used a fem drae 'cause they're awesome. *sage nod*

List of what I used:
Helm: Blackforge Cowl
Shoulders: Champion's Mail Shoulders
Shirt: Yellow Lumberjack Shirt (Optional; it looked way better when I had the Augmented chest piece with it.)
Chest: Chestguard of Inscrutability (Personally, I liked Augmented Chain Vest better, but I forgot you can't use white pieces for transmog >_>)
Belt: Bonelink Belt
Legs: Bat Claw Legguards (Apologies these don't match in color better, the original pants I had that did match were hunter only. >_> And other pants that I thought that looked good would require me to rework the whole set and I'm too tired for that atm.)
Boots: Knight-Lieutenant's Mail Greaves
Gloves: Knight-Lieutenant's Mail Vices

I'm thinking about going through and attempting another holy-esque shaman set some other day when I feel far less tired and make fewer mistakes, unless, of course, someone else makes one you like better. :D Also, I left out weapons since you didn't say which spec and shamans can use a pretty decent array of weapons, and what ones I did go through didn't give me a good Tyrael vibe since shamans can't use swords.

Obnoxious and unnecessary, too.

Pardon? I only meant that my first post didn't really contribute anything other than to let you guys know the gear was meant to be for a shaman and that I wanted to actually make a contribution to actually try and help the OP. I'm sorry I wanted to help? o_O

Your first post was fine - I did completely miss the shaman reference, and I'm glad you pointed that out; however in your second it looked like you were referring to myself and Sarayana, rather than yourself.

Apologies if that was not the case; it's easier to lose the intended tone with text. :)

I was not trying to imply anything other than that I wanted to make a post that actually helped the OP (as my first post helped you guys but contributed nothing to her). I'm kind of hurt that you think I was trying to make a swipe at you and Sara.

I was half asleep when making that entire post so admittedly my wording may not have been the best, but I was in a good mood when I made it and had no intentions of trying to upset anyone.

Also, I'd appreciate it if any future problems you have with my posts be handled via PM (or the report button) instead of in the thread itself; it's distracting and baiting other people to come in and assume I was attempting to be mean when I really wasn't. :)

Anywho, let's get this thread back on track. /rerails thread back to Kayoh

Edit: Derp, here I am trying to be polite and I forgot two very important things. >_<
First: Worba, I sincerely apologize for making you think that I was calling you and Sara out, as you now know, it was not my goal.
Second: Kayoh, I am so sorry for derailing your thread. I hope you find the outfit you're looking for for your shaman. :D

No worries - no one was trying to hurt anyone, it was just a silly miscommunication. Stuff happens. /hug back. :D
