The new heirloom interface is on the test realm now.

It looks like this:

I'm not sure what those tokens are, but I guess we'll find out. Haven't been able to find anything about it yet.

When you log in on a character that has heirlooms equipped, they are still equipped and enchanted if you have that. They're just getting added to the heirloom tab, somehow like the toys (exept that you don't have to click on them to add them). So you can still keep your enchanted heirlooms.
If you click on the icon in the heirloom tab, you'll create a copy of the heirloom you clicked on, and it will be an item in your bag, just like the heirlooms used to be.

I've been waiting for this basically since the introduction of heirlooms. @_@ Years, man.

bleh.. and they had to add this after I'd actually gotten two sets of the same heirloom so I could level two toons of the same class simultaneously (dual-box)

I have multiple sets of the same looms. I think I have 3 agi mail, 2 plate, and 2 or 3 cloth. Don't care, still sick of mailing them hither and yon.

Yup, same here. Multiple copies of looms, mostly because I had more JP then I knew what to do with so I just kept buying alts heirlooms. I have most of them stored in some poor alt's bank right now, can't play the character because he's got no room for any of his own items, lol.
But the multiple sets served their purpose for what I needed at the time, so it's all good to me

YES that's what I have been waiting for.some of my alts are half nude cause I transferred the heirlooms to an alt.

and that 35 heirloom reward mount.. 64 in total counting some garry weps, the rest the lowbie lvl and some pvp peices XD
