uh, trolls have -ALWAYS- had that option, the face paint patterns are tied to specific tusk styles, while the face paint colours are tied to hair colour. I've had a troll with the exact same blue hair/purple makeup pairing ever since vanilla.

It will hinge on how the final product looks, but I want to say either orc male or draenei male will be my first pick for a monk.

However, for sheer hilarity I'm bound to end up making a female gnome monk at some point.

To clarify, you'll no longer be able to equip both melee weapons and ranged weapons. The ranged slot is going away, ranged weapons are now equipped like a two handed weapon.

Trolls do not receive any bonus from crossbows, only the regular type of bow works with their racial. There currently is no race that gets any manner of bonus from wielding crossbows.

I saw those Blighthounds this morning and dropped a beast lore on them, they're non-tameable.
