I was going to do a bulk delete of posts and turn the accounts into dummy accounts but it turns out it's difficult to do that now without paying a 3rd party money and granting them access to your account.

I switched because Twitter has become a toxic hellscape and Bluesky is a lot more pleasant to use, but also I didn't have the energy to maintain four accounts (2 platforms x 2 websites) for much longer. And yes, that crab is definitely buggy. That's the spotted shell texture over its body, making it look janky.

I haven't seen any followup evidence on this, but I agree that Wowhead has probably come to the wrong conclusion on this one, though it was a good thought. The incorrect Wowhead data are probably another case of instanced tames being difficult to datamine because their tameability can vary with instance difficulty.
