Arcane shot will be the focus dump for (i think) all 3 specs. You'll want to use it when you go over a certain amount of focus, to stop yourself from 'focus capping' and thus losing potential damage. I've been camping at the north gorilla spot while working on my thesis (with NPCscan to warn me if it spawns). Tabbing back in every 10-20 mins to do a lap of the basin.
