Re: Shadowlands General Discussion

From what I've read, level 1 to 10 is a new starting experience, and when you finish it Chromie asks you what era of WoW you want to go to, so everything from Vanilla to BfA will be from level 10 to 50, so if I want I can level up in Mists of Pandaria and when I finish it I'm level 50 and ready for ...

Wow! I didn't expect it to do that! It will be fun to test it out with certain weapons! 8-)

Re: Crab Aggro Problem?

I haven't used a Crab in awhile, but might this be due to Pin being a 6 secs channel skill? I don't think crabs can use any skills while this is channeling.

Re: 8.2 Release Build

About time we get a date! Yesterday I was talking about this with a few friends, one of them said something I didn't think about, that it's possible Square Enix chose July 2nd to make sure that this time Blizzard wouldn't be able to pull of something to interfere with their expansion release like th...

Re: 8.2 Release Build

FF14 can release on the week of the 4th because their staff aren't American. The Japanese staff are well, in Japan, and the NA staff are in Canada. The NA staff as well as the NA servers are in the US, everything was removed from Montréal city in Québec something like 2 or 3 years ago. And no, thei...

Re: 8.2 Release Build

June 25th could be a hit or miss for them, as like Valnaaros said, Shadowbringers early access starts on the 28th of June, so it could either mess up with Final Fantasy XIV and remove some players from that game, or some might start to play 8.2 only to leave WoW once early access starts 3 days later...

Re: 8.2 Release Build

Looks like they're going to release it for July 2nd or maaaayyyybe June 25th, but my bet is the first date, considering Blizzard's track record.

Re: #saveourstriders

Shaiandra, are you talking about the hunter pet or the mount? Because the pet isn't losing anything, it's just the mount that will lose the water walking ability by default.

Re: 8.2 Beasts

It’s cool to see Nazjatar open, although they should put tidal guardians in the worm family, because it makes more sense than serpent It certainly does. Everything about them says worm. They're like some kind of polychaete. You guys want a unit from WC3 to be locked behind the BM spec? I think it's...

Re: #saveourstriders

Sure, it'll kinda sting to not have access to it at lower levels What are you talking about? If you have a level 100+ character, and have the Water Strider, you can buy the item and send it to a low level alt to equip it starting at level 20 so that all it's mounts can walk on water. Level 100 unlo...

Re: #saveourstriders

Also, my understanding is that the item that grants water walking is going to have the same rep requirement as the waterstrider itself? If that is the case, you still have to do the achievement to get waterwalking, but can now have a different look if, like me, you are getting a bit tired of the li...

I'm fine either way, as I don't see myself using anything other than the Water Walking effect in the first place.

Re: 8.1.5 will introduce a Hati questline

I do hope they fix the mount buff, as it gets wiped every time Hati goes into an area you can't mount in. If they can't find a way to fix it then maybe making the item into an actual Toy so we stop wasting gold. Other than that I'm pleased with the pet. I loved the quest chain and story! They did an...

Re: 8.1.5: Void Stalkers now Warp Stalkers

Well that's a horrible news. Void Stalker is Tenacity while Warp Stalker is Cunning. If they remove the Void Stalker family then that means Void Elves won't be able to use them in dungeons and raids while having the Tenacity benefits. I really hope they go back on this change.

Re: 8.1 - Animal Companion fixed

Okay I'm almost a month late for this one, but... It's still considered a significant dps loss compared to Killer Instinct. This is what Icy Veins has to say about it: Animal Companion is a significant damage loss compared to Killer Instinct. On top of that, it adds another element of pet AI relianc...

Re: Blood Beast taming search

I guess the tome is locked behind the raid because it's account wide once you learn it. You only have to do it once, then all your other hunter alts and future hunters can tame Blood Beasts. Doesn't mean I agree with the Normal minimum requirement though, like you said, they could have made it a low...

Re: 8.1 Beasts

I'm sorry Wain but there's no way they will ever start the 2nd taming pass THAT late in the PTR cycle. They had what, 2 or 3 months to do it? Maybe 4? Nothing changed. Direhorns and Basilisks are still missing their family skills too. This is just plain horrible. They dropped the ball and there's no...

Re: 8.1 Beasts

I guess who ever is in charge of hunter pets at Blizzard just gave up for patch 8.1 since nothing new came up after all this time. Even that darn tome to tame Blood Beasts seems to either not have been found yet, or hasn't even been added to a loot table at all so far. This is depressing...

Re: 8.1 General Discussion

They posted them as possible combos, but have since removed them. I saw an interview with Alex Afrasiabi earlier where he said that he was on the side of giving mage to Kul'tirans, but that he wasn't the only one to make the call. There's still hope if he and others can convince the rest of the tea...
