BM is still plenty potent on beta. Beast Cleave was nerfed because GC said several weeks ago that BM AOE was 'fine, probably too good' which, in all honesty it was. I think I have 5 or 6 pets that I'm not attached to, rares that I tamed because of OMGRARE impulses and such. But in general I do care about the majority of my babies. Especially my scorpids! I'm looking oh-so-very-forward to finally being able to use them as tank and dps pets in Mists. :headbang:

Fen Striders from Zangarmarsh, and the lava scorpids that Druids of the Flame turn into! Also, I want a tameable turtle that uses the mount model... its so cute!

They said they were considering removing pet talent trees, not the same thing.

I agree Xa. So much hunter goodness coming between 4.3 and Mists!

And I've missed this place for what its worth! So many people I can relate to here in terms of actually caring about their pets and thinking of their hunters as more than numbers on a meter.
