I agree. There seem to be multiple areas of the expansion that seem unfinished, such as the worgen experience, or fishing, which was supposed to be "more exciting". Treasure chests also come to mind.

I have a feeling they didn't have time to create a new model for those Volcanoth turtles, so Nemesis/Terrorpene is what we got instead. Yea, I was really disappointed, to be honest. I was hoping for a larger elemental/lost world theme with new pets, going by the concept art for some of the beasts. ...

The shale worms. I was so hoping I'd be able to tame those, their models are just beautiful. Basilisks are alright, I'd tame one given the chance. Dragon whelps.
