Herbing does indeed level a pet. I was able to level Chromaggus from 77 1/2 to 80 in about 45 minutes to an hour , picking herbs in Scholar Basin. :D

I was getting about 2500 pet xp per pick. Very Efficient

My Hunter is a Herbalist/alchemist.
