I think Scroll of Resurrection is your best bet. Looks to me like you won't need to pay anything on his account - sending him the scroll gets his account 10 days, that should be plenty to send things over. After that, you just don't resub on his account and nobody's the worse off.

I've been playing around with the new wowhead xmog feature (paladin here: http://www.wowhead.com/transmog-sets?filter=cl=2), and I found a few pally sets that seem to suit the sunwalker feel: http://www.wowhead.com/transmog-set=384#modelviewer:6+1 minus the helmet seems to have the colours I'd think...

Wowhead launched a new feature last night: http://www.wowhead.com/transmog-sets?filter=cl=3 I'm sure it doesn't have everything, and it's listed alphabetically so you'll have to scroll through cause their search-by-colour (which they're programming with the folks that made Mogit) feature is not read...

Perhaps test it with another corehound? If it still happens, you know it's either a corehound bug or an issue with your client; if it doesn't, it's all Gir. At least you'd be closer to finding the source.

I'm curious what it was about? -- mainly because Mal'Ganis is the bane of my existence (literally!) in many dungeon pugs. Ugh, I have yet to pug with a decent player, in terms of skill, attitude and personality, from Mal'Ganis.

I have that boar and he totally changed my mind on piggies. He rocks. <3 I named him Absynthe.

Back in TBC, that two-headed bird was my main pet. I named her Gemini. Unfortunately I don't use her much anymore.

I love ambassador, which is definitely soloable. Diplomat is also a fun one, slightly harder but fun nonetheless.
