The disease cloud goes away whenever the pet dies, it isn't permanent like the oil slicked wolf or Lone Hunter. However, there is a bear you can tame with a permanent pink glow effect in Darkshore named the "Consumed Thistle Bear".

Is the bear's aura gone now? I'll update it if so. You could always kill one of the wild ones and see if it changes, or die with the pet out (or get pet killed). One not on your list I spotted today. If you might remember rolling a tauren after 4.0.3a, there's the new starting area quest to set the boar's feed on fire, sending piggies flying. This is great, I just tamed the oil slicked wolf and the flaming boar with this macro. Here's hoping they don't remove them

Managed to get this after the random dcs stopped happening earlier. He was much easier to get than the Lone Hunter. The glow effect looks really nice in dark areas

I guess you're just unlucky. I've seen people say they ran it 100+ times and haven't seen the parrots, but I found them on my third run.

Is this one more rare than the Albino Eyegouger? I haven't ever seen that one yet but I've seen the Eyegouger twice in a row now.
