Re: Shadowlands General Discussion
There has been a... pattern emerging in WoW that has led me farther away from it, and that is the secondary ability/power creep. There is so much to do, so much to grind which would normally be nice as a means to pass away the time. But the issue is that in an addon-world, it's no longer 'I bet I ca...

Re: Ghost nightmare spider
Ah! Good find. I spotted it in the Nightmares Manifest quest video on WoWhead. It does look like it's indeed tameable.

Re: Shadowlands Alpha/Beta Beast Thread
The second boss of the Necrotic Wake is tamable. This makes it the only tamable saddled Maldraxxus chimaera. That... probably has a good chance of being hotfixed, I think. Bosses aren't meant to be tamed at content, they make them tameable after. I can see it being made tameable later, but I'd be s...

Re: Dolly and Dot can be YOUR best friends!
Both Dolly and Dot, found in the Vol'dun vulpera encampment, are tameable! I used the Sliver of N'zoth in order to aggro them on Horde - I do not know if this is necessary for Alliance, or if they are simply attackable. I did not see them listed on Petopia as tameable, so here's to a new and iconic...

Re: Appearance Buffed Pets were NOT WIPED
This was an intentional bug fix. There are other small-sized pets that Blizzard has yet to fix, but on the PTR my tiny toad was normal-sized as well.

Appearance Buffed Pets were NOT WIPED
Upon log-in, I'm relieved to say the level squish did not affect our hunter pets and they were not wiped as part of the buff squish, as some feared and was seemingly prevalent on the PTR/Beta. I still have all my appearance-buffed pets, safe and sound. As a reminder, things that WILL wipe your pets ...

Re: Glitch Pets and Party Sync
Most of my "glitch" pets do not look the same on beta as they do on live. Flaming boar is just an armoured boar, Wolf with a dagger in his head is just a slightly transparent wolf, Two-headed vulture with a blue glow has lost the glow but is semi-transparent, The oil stained bird and wolf are just ...

Re: Glitch Pets and Party Sync
It's very common for pets with appearance buffs to not be copied correctly to PTR since it's just transferring the 'model' which isn't tied to the buffs. For every past PTR, it didn't affect anything on live and all pets were fine. However, because this is the first level squish that has ever occurr...

Party Sync will wipe Appearance Buffed pets
To relay a post on the BfA forum that would be better suited here: Hey guys. So I've never posted here before but I have to warn any people with glitch pets. DO NOT use the party sync if you have a glitch pet in your call pet or active pet slots. I just lost my precious oil-stained wolf today becaus...

Re: Glitch Pets and Party Sync
Twojoints, that's not confirmed, just an issue with copy at the present. Veph was able to copy hers without issue.

Re: Shadowlands Alpha/Beta Beast Thread
I'm trying everything at a pink elekk to get it mad at me, but I'm not Irish enough to know how to do bar insults. I've puked on it while drunk, I've done /rude and /spit, I've gone through my 499 toys (that copied over at least), and I've done as many things as I could that could translate into Wo...

Re: Shadowlands Alpha/Beta Beast Thread
WoWScrnShot_090520_175015.jpg Rams have been shrunk, I think this might be Blizzard's excuse to keep us from taming our Black ram, hopefully we can tame them, if we can tame gazelles, why not deer and Rams(the critter only), and sheep which can fit in gruffhorns I don’t think that they did it to pr...

Re: Shadowlands Alpha/Beta Beast Thread
Yeah, Kurken is just some weird mutant hound. It's likely with the Core Hounds because it's similar in design, but it certainly fits the hound family now more than core hound since Guarm and its ilk resemble hydras, but are considered hounds. Changing them to a hound would probably make people mad,...

Re: Shadowlands Alpha/Beta Beast Thread
Question - what's the difference between Beta and PTR right now? I'd be willing to do pet tests but I haven't really played enough to know if PTR is useful or Beta gets differences from it.

Re: Shadowlands Alpha/Beta Beast Thread
I'm going through the WoWhead list and I had to laugh at Plaguefang, <Nathanos' Pet> being tameable. Snatching that guy's beloved dog right out from under him seems like a good cathartic move for everything he's put us through ;p

I was like... if they shrink him any more, he's going to be atom-sized!
