I'm certainly not dropping anything just because of the new pets. Not sure what I'll pick up yet, either.
The pink crane is the GAYEST BIRD IN ALL CREATION, though, so I might have to have it.

Part of the game too. You profit from them, they profit from everyone else.

Re: PetEmote Addon - Its not the end
I'd planned on helping out with this, but Real Life got in the way more than I wanted it to. I may still offer suggestions and submit patches etc. As to the editor, it's written in I believe C#/.NET, and I don't know it. I think the free version of Microsoft Visual C# would be sufficient to build it...

Re: Arcanite ripper found on black market!
Prices for mats will be pretty high for a few months -- they'll be insane for the first two weeks, but even for months people will still be leveling their crafting and making stuff to gear up (or sell). Skinning will probably go down in price first, it always does. I think there's a difference betwe...

Not to mention that Azeroth is not bound by the same laws of reality as we are. This is self-evident in that the goblins', gnomes' and dwarves' superior technology has not translated into ruling the place by now.

Yes, most sushi places do non-sushi food. It's a good idea to start on some easy things like salmon -- most people seem to find that tasty!

Yes; the rules are guidelines, and Blizzard reserves the right to forbid things that they previously didn't, or that never got put in the official rules.

Re: Diablo III chatter
Hmm, mine will play but it's SLOOOW in fullscreen mode. Seems to handle windowed better. I think the problem is that fullscreen on this system is 1920x1200 which is a lot of pixels to push around, and the laptop's almost 3 years old.

Isn't SV the proc-dependent one? Only proc MM has is Master Marksman and its free Aimed Shot.

Re: whats harder SV or Marksman?
I've never played SV, but MM is pretty easy, though it depends on your haste; I do this rotation normally: Start with Hunter's Mark, then Serpent Sting, then rotate: Chimera Shot 2 x Steady Shot 2 x Arcane Shot 2 x Steady Shot If Master Marksman procs its free Aimed Shot, I'll use it whenever. Durin...

Pocket knife could get people in trouble if they're going to school, but pepper spray is normally allowed (check the rules!).

The Tauren being Horde gives the lie to the "horde = evil/nasty" story Alliance players like to tell themselves, that's for sure

@Kalliope: I turn off Java and Flash, that covers 99% of risk in my experience. Plus, I generally go to the results on known sites like Blizzard's own forums, wowhead, mmochampion, etc etc.

All of the problems I've had have been solved by Googling, but if you've tried that and nothing ... that truly sucks.

One thing I did think of is that this is Blizzard conflating Japanese and Chinese things again, which has got them in trouble before.

Re: Vault of Deeds: a Suggestion For 'Mog Overcrowding
It's probably more like 6 fields (intItemID, intCharacterID, intBag, intSlot, intStackSize, intDurability), and you may think they have more space to spare, but we don't actually know how much disk space it takes them, or how much they can afford - we have to therefore take them at their word that ...

Re: Considering PvP...
I think all the three specs can effectively PvP. MM has excellent burst damage plus silencing shot, perfect for burning down a self-healer. BM has all the pet special talents and is less affected by line-of-sight issues, important in arena, since your pet is still on the enemy even if they're hiding...
