I can confirm that as of 2nd July 2012 the Angered Arakkoa Protector with the Blue Mist Aura is still obtainable with despawn method, I just got mine a few mins ago :)
I tried about 150 Oil-Stained wolved today using as many methods as I could possibly try to no avail. Not once did it despawn it ...
