Re: BM new problems with talent changes vs. taming Hutia

Well Counter Shot is an interrupt, which will functionally act as a silence vs PvE characters, so nothing to really worry about. It's not a stun, which doesn't lock out casting, just stuns the target into inaction for X seconds.

Re: Minipet Accomplishment Thread

Those scourged whelplings are ALWAYS up on Kilrogg EU. I've never been up round there and not seen several up at a time. Got my Lil bad wolf last night as well, which brings me to 5/10 for the RWL2 ach, all inside of 3 days with a reset in between, and I still have Tempest keep x2, SSCx2 and another...

Re: BM new problems with talent changes vs. taming Hutia

If SS is so op as a talent, then why don't they make it baseline?

Healing totem for shammies? Doing exactly that.

Re: BM new problems with talent changes vs. taming Hutia

Well this NYI glyph might help... http://ptr.wowhead.com/spell=146657 Glyph of Scattered Thoughts (NYI) Your Scatter Shot no longer Disorients the target, but now interrupts their spellcasts, preventing any spells in the same school from being cast for 4 sec, and Scatter Shot's range is increasd by...

Re: "Women and Raiding?" The stupidest blog post I have seen

I think it's more a case of Buzzkill being a dick, surrounded by like-minded dicks. Stroking their e-peens on how much better they are than a gender none of them have ever had a chance with.

Re: Trinket Question

Yeah I got the rune a week or so ago, and tbh for a hunter it's rubbish. It nerfs my dps despite the agility on it being better than my windswept pages trink, mainly because of the way it works when it procs.

Re: More nerfs... and other changes.

Each Quarter report that come out, shows a steady decline in subscriber base. That's only people with active accounts. Not counting the ones that only logg in once every week or so. If that's your interpretation of an active sub, it's quite incorrect. An active sub, as defined by Blizzard, is someo...

Turtles and beetles are mechanically identical. Both are both far superior to a Direhorn for tanking.

Re: New build, growl change?

It's both a buff and a nerf, though. It's a buff, in that it increases threat by 200%. However, is the 'automatic taunt' effect taken away? So if you have a ton of threat on an enemy, you can't just Growl and yank it off any more. Great for starting threat. Worrisome if your pet dies and you have t...

That's actually a very salient point I hadn't considered.

Re: Its time for PVP and PVE to become separated.

I actually agree with this 100%. I'm so sick of PvE getting shafted every time because of PvP. Agreed 1000% Sick of pve being constantly fked over because of PvP balance. I think players are intelligent enough to know why abilities would work differently in different contexts. GC et al really do th...

Re: What pets to keep in list

Spirit Beast of some sort?

My default 3 I have on me at all times are Savage, Terrorpene (or another tank pet such as my white beetle) and one of my 10 Spirit Beasts.

I usually leave the other 2 spots open for taming.

Re: Well, Hello Minty! And...Minty?

I had EXACTLY the same thing happen when I dismissed my Savage during that mc phase about 2 weeks ago. Had 2 Savages follow me around the rest of the instance.

Sadly the cosmetic one despawned as soon as I hearthed :(

It was awesome though :)

Re: Unborn Val'kyr?

Finally got mine tonight after our raid. Picked it up and it was an uncommon one, and then when the fight ended, I received a Flawless Undead Battle stone as a reward!

Talk about luck, it means I can finally stop trawling around the entire bloody continent now.

I spent most of yesterday trawling round Northrend looking for one. Really a pain in the butt tbh. I don't mind trawling a zone, but an entire continent?

Eurgh.

Re: the hc scenarios..

They're not that hard. Hell I solo'd Xorenth (on my Pally) when my two guildies died within 30 seconds. It's normally the mechanics that will kill you in these, not the mob damage. If you're even half awake they're pretty easy.
