Silverdragon triggers off nameplates. It doesn't use the cache like NPCScan does. On the downside it seems to have be limited to what's in, or at least close to visual range. Can someone please verify that the portal has to be opened before you can find Magria, Ankha, or Ban'thalos?

What does running NPCScan and SilverDragon together give you?

I'm just using SilverDragon and NPCScan_Overlay.
