Re: Twilight Prowler (Wolf using Black Nightsaber Model)

Shame my hunter is Alliance. That's totally going to be fixed though, just like they did to the manasaber dog in Legion. Hope you guys enjoy it while it lasts.

Re: 8.3 Beasts Thread

Hoping for some last-minute fixes. I don't see Ji-kun being tameable still, the best cobra is wasted as a starter pet, the black worg is still only for Horde, and the green Quilen is still incorrectly too high level. We got spoiled super hard last time, but this is just a pretty weak patch overall. ...

Re: 8.3 Beasts Thread

True, but they did just recently give us two of the most-requested tames (even if one is through means of irritating a ton of people and wasting the 15~ minutes they were waiting prior to you stealing it). They didn't really add any new zones, and nothing bestial really came out of this aside from n...

Re: 8.3 Beasts Thread

Chances are that all the higher level beasts will still be untameable until Shadowlands, but it'd be nice if they let us tame them.

Re: 8.3 Beasts Thread

It's likely that they've not done a taming pass, but at the same time, the month is almost halfway done and 2020 is just around the corner. It's gonna be really awful if the only new tameable is a one-time only wolf that's horde only as well. ESPECIALLY since they could easily change the model of th...

Re: Dottie: Alpaca Pet Giveaway!

Bit of a longshot here, but when I was younger, there was a little old couple that lived on the riverfront next to a shopping district of sorts here (as in various big brand stores like Toys R' Us and Wal*mart), and they had a few farm animals. When I was a wee lad, and my dad took me to get a new t...

Re: Shadowlands General Discussion

Ignoring current exotics, what sort of interesting abilities could each pet family get? My choice for rodents would be Sunder Armor, because HUGE SHARP TEETH. It'd also make Rodents worth using, poor forgotten family.

Re: 8.3 Beasts Thread

It's merely an oversight that they forgot to tag the aqir OTHER THAN the one beetle as beasts, not the other way around! But for real though, it'd be one hell of a missed opportunity to not let us tame the new bugs. Even if they were blood beasts, I'd be fine.

Re: Shadowlands General Discussion

Definitely one of the more idiotic things Blizzard has done, for sure. We can still buy the other two vendor mounts expansions later, but the brutosaur is the special snowflake to get thrown into the no-peasants auction house? It doesn't matter that the former two are just vendors and transmog eithe...

Re: 8.3 Beasts Thread

I'm impressed at how little we get in the pet department this patch so far. They're already testing the endgame content for the tiny margin of folks at that level, and we've had nary a new pet aside from the black worg that's Horde only and one time per account only. Granted, Shadowlands is coming n...

Re: 8.3 Beasts Thread

It looks like they're unfortunately stuck in a Horde-only one-time scenario. They're not in normal Twilight Highlands, before or after the Vulpera unlock. That's pretty bad. Be sure to suggest this be fixed! EDIT: Gotta love how my post is so much later when I submitted over 6 minutes ago. Site's go...

Re: 8.3 Beasts Thread

We've got a new step in the right direction; Marsh Serpents in Uldum (8.3 phase) are flagged as serpents. Not tameable, but they now show the same information that a tameable serpent would have when you hit them with Beast Lore. Python model being tameable looks more likely now, though not confirmed...

Re: 8.3 Beasts Thread

They're both under the order of "Artiodactyla", so they're similar enough! Just rename stags as "Even-Toed" or something like that, remove the goat family, put the goats into the Even-Toed family, and put Alpacas in there too. Hooray ancestry! Plus, unicorns aren't stags, but they count as such. Log...

Re: BlizzCon Beasts

It's mind-boggling that they haven't used that concept since. Obtaining an item from an NPC that's hard to fight (for that expansion) was the best concept, but it's only been used once. We had other odd taming methods, like the awful Panthera one (please god don't let this one happen again), but the...

Re: BlizzCon Beasts

I've already got my list ready for when playable alphas/betas come out, and I even have my template suggestion ready to beg for certain mobs to be tameable. As it stands though, I'm certain the only beasts we've seen that won't be tameable will be the grubs. The rune stags and windsteeds are obvious...

Re: BlizzCon Beasts

Jeez, that olive one looks so good. I didn't know it had a good color scheme. I was going to ignore them initially, but if that olive one is tameable, I am all over that.

My first thought was to find the edgiest sword I could, get full black and red plate armor, then rock that enchant on two swords. Daedric Armor and Bound Weapons from The Elder Scrolls, let's go!

Re: BlizzCon Beasts

Oh, it didn't start them with a generic wolf for once? Guess that's nice, but yeah. I'm guessing it'll be tameable because that'd be absolutely evil to make it untameable.
