I had the same trouble as Ryno earlier, although I managed to get it working. I extracted them into the addon folder as normal. I went into addon folder and made a new folder called PetEmote (no space between the words) and put the extracted pet emote contents into the new one. That got it working ...

Since hydras seemed linked to an old god, wouldn't be surprised if they were linked to Yogg-Saron somehow. Plus hydras are aquatic, for the most part...

Just curious... does each zone require different rep for each instance to make it heroic? Each set of heroics is tied to a rep, which you'll need friendly with to buy the key to unlock the heroics. Hellfire Citadel Heroics - need rep with Thrallmar. Coilfang Heroics - need rep with the Cenarion Exp...

I would like to point out not all members of the guild actively look at the forum, and this thread should not be taken as 100% 'that rare is mine I called it!' stuff. It is a good idea, and I think it would help though.
