I don't see how us taming our own mounts could possibly make us unbalanced. Pallies, warlocks, and DKs all have thier own mounts, which also count toward the achievement. I don't think we should have a stable full of mounts, but two is a good amount; one fast, one slow. Unless we could ALSO tame fl...
