Just as an update - I have just completed the quest for the class mount, and was able to purchase this from the stable master at Trueshot Lodge.

I hope to complete the requirements for the mount quest either tonight or tomorrow, so I'll know for sure then. I'll let you know.

I've had ticket reply from a GM confirming that the Tome of Hybrid Beasts is now impossible to get for new or returning hunters if they have not already obtained the Power Ascended achievement. They also did not know if this is something that will be addressed at a later date.

Just to save you some wasted time, you can't tame feathermanes or any of that family without the tome of hybrid beasts. You can't get this without also having completed the Power Ascended achievement, which if you haven't already done it is impossible to do now. No news from blizzard on when or if t...
