A "trick" special for Dogs (like birds/bears) - It would be super cool if they were to sit or lay down on command.

Does anyone know if server/faction/race transferring removes the debuffs from pets like the oil-stained wolf and flaming boar? My husband wants to bring back his old hunter who has many of these pets and he is afraid to lose them if he moves the character.
