Update: I decided I am not going to do a theme for naming my pets after all. So I would love name ideas that sound good and have cool meanings behind them. What do you think fits for Loque? Sorry to be vague but I am open to a lot of different ideas. Just nothing I'm finding on my own seems to fit ...

Aww, this makes me want to tame Steelsnap. I wanted Snort but it seems like Steelsnap is more in danger, and I'm just sad to see any pet be gone forever. I have no room now though...

What about if I am running one friend through dungeons on his alts? It's one way we like to hang out in game...running things like Mara that are a huge pain to go through with a pug.

Would you recommend a different pet for this, than for say soloing old raids?

Wow, so many different ideas! This is going to be harder than I thought. I might just have fun trying and testing them all out! It won't be until Cata though...

What in your opinion is the best type of tanking pet for farming instances and old raids? I had heard a turtle, but am curious if there are other decent options...bear maybe? Reasons why would be really awesome for helping me decide, too.

I hear you. I just tamed the Clutchmother on my main yesterday for that same reason. Congrats on the bat as well!

I like Veph's suggestions. I have Ironjaw myself and I quite like him, and I also agree that Barnabus would like really good with you.

I will also suggest Snarler. He has the cute and playful look but I also think he has a stronger side and would look good with an orc.
