Re: Soloing Warbringers: Share your strategies

A guildie of mine said it was mini-patched recently to make them immune to snare, stuns, and taunts. Was looking around for the post but haven't found it yet. Apparently was done to intervene the griefing.

Ooh! So jealous! <3<3 Manson. Hope you had a blast- he puts on the best shows. I think I'm definitely due to see him again lol.

Re: Amber Parasites - Not Tameable on the PTR

That being said, glad the parasites are being shrunk down, but sadness for people who don't have a hunter of a level to tame the little guys while they are available. This exactly sums up how I feel. I found him a bit too huge to use on a regular basis. I tamed him, sat around for a bit at Halfhill...

Re: Soph's Mount Journal: [ALANI... wait... no... DEVESTATIO

I read your post on the official forums, I'm sooooo sorry this happened to you- because even if you get it back, the wait time for the response is the most stressful and sickening thing to deal with. I send you my wishes for you to have amazing GMs like I have encountered throughout my WoW 'career'...

Re: Swift Windsteed - Now in Blizzard Store!

Pictures definitely don't do it justice, as for many things. For those saying he has an ugly face, it is definitely due to the armor hiding the gradient, which on the unarmored models, allows the muzzle to blend nicer and make more 'sense'. He kinda reminds me of Gizmo from Gremlins! As said ...

Re: Taming Buff Pets in 5.1 --Guide--

Also, something else to note: I hade Lone Hunter before they took away our ability to tame sparkle pets. I had him out in a BG (a non-rated, plain and simple BG), and during that BG, his buff got taken away somehow. I'm not sure which class can get rid of it (priest mass-dispel maybe?), but the buf...

Re: Taming Buff Pets in 5.1 --Guide--

Just double checking something- is arena the only thing that will wipe these pets back to their underlying skin? I remember back in Wrath when these tames were first discovered, that arena was the only threat to our little furry treasures. Dungeons (including dungeon finder), raids, and regular bat...

Re: Taming Buff Pets in 5.1 --Guide--

Hey there, I was pondering taming an Amberscale Basilisk with the Sha buff, since it persists through death. I took a swing over to where they are and noticed they are just monochrome, with no wisps of Sha-ness or oily Sha puddles underneath as the kitties and scorps have. Not sure if it is just no...

Re: Taming Buff Pets in 5.1 --Guide--

Just wanna give a shoutout to Amber, who got me my Kung Din- just couldn't get the timing down with anyone else who helped me, was always a hair off- but Amber nailed it! Super polite, patient, and so willing to help others- an asset to the Hunter community! I'm sure my guild and fiance thank you t...

Re: Mount Acomplishment Thread

Earlier today I finally got my Alani! I was sitting on 5 shards for awhile now, and once I hit ambassador with Pandaria I kinda stopped doing pretty much anything except pet battles. Recently, I was like, OK, this is stupid, I've been running around with half the shards I need for the mount, why am...

Yeah..... Just had Sunwing yanked out from under me..... Thanks CRZ.... So did I lol. I'm pretty annoyed because no one was there the whole time I was, then a few people popped in and would leave. Added him into NPC scan, and a second before he popped, some Worgen from a diff server came over and y...

Re: Mount Acomplishment Thread

I was finally (after probably close to 200 runs) able to see, for the first time, the Vitreous Stone Drake drop from Stonecore. The run he finally dropped on was during the first day of the hurricane, I think my second or third run of the night, first time soloing since hitting 90. Power flickered ...

Re: Cinder Kitten Charity Drive for Superstorm Sand

Huge Respect for Blizz for those actions, even more for donating full 100%. I'm only a little bit concerned about where this help goes to. While I don't deny that US has been hit hard, it is a relatively rich country. But Sandy has made quite a mess in Caraibean, too. They don't have neither as man...

Re: Windsteed = Mythological Qillin irl?

From the pic it doesn't look like it's intended to be a qilin/kirin at all, but a flying goat with some qilin themed armour pieces. At least from the pics the "scaly" legs look like pieces of armour and the barbel things look like they're part of the harness. It also looks rather cutesy. Ah well :(...

Re: New Non-Pandarian Tameables in Patch 5.1

Awww, really cheapens my Chromaggus, I guess more ppl will enjoy him but I had to work for that tame! Now everyone's going to grab him. Actually, it's a known trend (at least on these forums) that the easier a pet is to obtain, the more players will rush to abandon the originals. So you'll probably...

For what it's worth, red corehounds have been obtainable outside of Molten Core for years now. Think they mean Chromaggus, but I digress. :) These are all great finds! I check back often to see if any more were added. All we need now are gold-sink stable slot additions, 5 seems about right

Re: Cloud Serpents! Let's see them!

I picked the gold one as well. It was an insanely hard decision since they're all gorgeous (and will be coming home with me), but the gold screams 'sunset'. I think I'll nickname mine 'Mango' lol. Egg competition on my realm is slightly insane, hopefully less people will be farming when I get on in...
