Can't wait to tame some mechas on my engineer!
I wonder how it'll be obtained & what kind of mechas we'll be seeing placed in this family? Personally, I'm hoping that they at least keep it limited to beasts; a saber similar to the fluxfire feline would be amazing! I also wonder if gnomes will get this by default via racial since they start out with a mechanical chicken.

Ahh how neat!

I wonder if existing mechanical-looking pets will be moved to this family?

Oh wow, I would love to have a robot scorpion. That'd be so great to run around with your own Iron Juggernaut.

YESSSS. I know there'll probably be a limit on what will be tamable and what won't, but this will go perfectly with my Hunter, who's very into Engineering.

Looks like it doesn't require engineering to use, thank Primus! I don't wanna have to level it on my hunter! I wonder where it will come from tho...
I'm incredibly curious as to what will be added to this family...

It really does open up so many possibilities... I know it's a lot of work and I'm not going to get my hopes up for a ton of new models, but it's still so exciting to think of the mechanical beasts that could potentially be placed in the old zones in addition to those we could see in future expacs

So it's revealed then

Here's something I cobbled together...
http://www.wow-petopia.com/family/mechanical.html
These are NOT confirmed pets in this family. Just things that look like animals. We'll have to wait and see which make it in. And what new ones may be on the way! Many of these were designed for minipets and look a bit plastic when they're enlarged, more like an animal wearing a onesie with cogwheel patterns

Some look good though. What gnomes will get as their starting pet I don't believe has been confirmed yet.

I hope that this is either restricted to gnomes, or at least engineers craft this.
If mechanicals are available without touching engineering.. I will be very annoyed.

oh my! I forgot about the iron juggernaut! This is going to be so great for gnome hunters. I'm kinda hoping they include a mech-rabbit like the engineering battle pet, or maybe a chicken too. Also am I the only one that thought of the line "Nano-machines son." with the item that teaches you how to tame mechs?

Would love a robot raptor pet
I'm very against it being restricted to one race or one profession.
I mean. If it is. Whatever, but.
People who want that sound very anti-fun. It's annoying

What's ability do you think they'll have? A passive buff like most or an active use? The only other pet like the mechs is the direhorns, and they have an active use, but man do I not like it. Hopefully it'll be something more useful...maybe a stun...
I also noticed the item doesn't have a level requirement like the direhorn book...woot!
