Found out this information:

If you find a 50410 it will turn to dust which you can sell for 25g

If you find a 50409 it will port you to the Camel Hoarder in which you can then get the mount by defeating him


I think this may be a new obsession for me to find one of these lil' buggers while I farm up Ore in Uldum.

Ya, ur best bet is to have NPC Scan ( and have cache cleared otherwise u wont get notified in case u had came accross it before but didnt realized it). i also have the old "click like crazy" macro wich i only use when im over a spawn point. also ive noticed on my npc chart, besides the two IDs mentioned, there sometimes appear a 3rd ID for the figurines. and what ive noticed is :
ive found the figurines twice since i found out bout all this camel mount drop thing, no port yet :{, but both times I saw the 3 IDs were on the NPC ID chart."coincidence?" not sure. usually theres 2 ids, so incase u see a 3rd one, go patrol all around. we could use more infor bout if in fact when theres 3 IDs, then there will be a figurine waiting for u to find it.

btw, i think the other ID is 50411

It's not 100% certain - while most say that, I've seen a couple of conflicting reports, so I would definitely not assume.

WAHOO!!! TODAY I FINALLY GOT MY PORT TO CAMEL HOARDER!!!
I was just gonna do one route around Uldum before i would log off to watch Mexico game, having found the figurine 3 times in past month, was hoping that 3rd time was the charm but no. anyways, NPC went off for second time by the akhenet fields, this time , was expecting the renmants again but no, i saw my hunter start swirling around , was like wa ta hel?, got scared cause after the port, my wow screen went black, didnt know what to do, however i could hear me jumping in water when i pressed spacebar, so it didnt freeze, so i closed my fraps, that solved problem, guess fraps froze or something and wouldnt let me see, after that ya i started to take down that hoarder, surrounded by lots of camels, he was piece of cake, no hassle at all, all he did was shoot some kind of nature damage stuff that u just have to move out of the way, killed it, looted mount, and got achievement. as an 85 bm hunter, fight wasnt long nor hard, prob less than 2 min. i was a lil disappointed cause ive had seen on a wow site that this particular mount was a two-person camel. guess it was a lie,

well, now its time for the other mount in deepholm,
ready or not, here i come!

oh, btw, the times(4) i found the figurine have been:
Akhenet fields - seen twice, second time got the mount( by tree on ground, on top of building)
coordinate point - Once,32.6, 47.8 (it will be by one of those doors that are buried on the sand)
ruins of ammon - once - this was my first found

i also would focus my patrol up on the temple of uldum. and orsis.

nice congrats! I still make 2-3 loops of Uldum each day in hopes of finding a figurine. Still no luck though, I check Osiris, the ruins with the ghosts down south, and Akhenet fields. And also over that cliff where Schnottz guys are (to the west of madexx spawns)
