Ooh! That's a very nice change... I hope that prowl is just a placeholder for now. Really, Prowl is used for both Cats and Spirit Beasts. I don't think it needs to be another family's skill. I guess it is kind of fitting for them, though.

Here I have an idea.Azunara wrote:You know what I mean though. xD
Hrm...
Snarl: The fox snarls and bares its teeth, causing the enemy to run away in fear for four seconds?
Backbiter-Fox dashes behind enemy and strikes. This attack cancils spellcasting and is not afeected by the enemys armor.

Foxes are sneaky; I'm in favor of them getting prowl.

Prowl isn't the only ability cats have though, they also have Rake. Not quite as memorable, but still. Also, Spirit Beasts have prowl too.Azunara wrote:I still think foxes shouldn't share the ability with cats. Doesn't each family have a unique talent? What about....
Tackle: The fox tackles the enemies, leaping through the air and stunning them for X seconds.

Oh yes they do!Zeilla8 wrote:Hmm, I don't think foxes leapAzunara wrote:I still think foxes shouldn't share the ability with cats. Doesn't each family have a unique talent? What about....

Foxes are the most primitive of the canids, and close to the root of the canid tree, which was a common ancestor of the felid branch as well. Many foxes still retain the abilities the ancestor had, like climbing trees.Tierkreis wrote:Nah, foxes irl are in the canine family with dogs, wolves, coyotes, and raccoon dogs. XD It's hyenas which are closely related to the feline family.Oom wrote:Actually I think Foxes are more closely related to the feline family irl anyways? So prowl would make sense >.> idk lol
They leap. One of their tactics is to jump in the air and land on small prey like mice and voles with their forepaws, pinning and crushing it. They'll also jump after birds.Zeilla8 wrote:Hmm, I don't think foxes leapAzunara wrote:I still think foxes shouldn't share the ability with cats. Doesn't each family have a unique talent? I think Foxes should get an Infectious Wound kind of disease as their special...either a lesser 'slows melee attack speed' or 'increased physical damage taken'
