Way To Become Hostile?

Aw. My hunter's an engi with a cap that lets me MC stuff but all my stable slots are taken by pets I adore x.x This is a really interesting thread though, I'll definitely be following it closely.

Also the 2 headed bright blue bird in blades edge; beast lore says it is tamable, only problem is "Creature is already controlled" I have tested several cc and kiting methods, so far no luck. Anyone an eng that has gnomish mindcontrol cap that could maybe try out ccing the humanoid that spawns it? Or priest MC?

The bird in question is the Angered Arakkoa Protector, summoned by Ruuan'ok Ravenguards when they get low on health. They run to a summoning circle and bam!



Interesting thing about them, though, is they're birds of prey! So if we can find out how to tame them it comes full circle, first the owl-skinned carrion birds, and now this. Makes you wonder if the Arakkoa can keep their birds straight.



I think if we can figure out how to tame something that gives the "Creature is already controlled" message, it's a good precaution to tackling Thrall's wolves, if they give the same message. Precautions and all.

And has anyone checked out The Plains Vision in Mulgore? I'm not sure if it's a beast or tagged as tameable, but it's a ghost wolf as well, and friendly to all.

Hmm...

My priest friend (thank god for his patience) came out to BEM with me.

We tried the following:

1. MC'ing the mob in advance (no option to spawn birds)
2. MC'ing the mob on low hp (still no option)
3. MC'ing the mob after bird was spawned; bird is still "controlled"
4. MC'ing the mob, while in a duel with me, after bird was spawned; bird is still "controlled"

I also attempted to kite the spawn mob away, but it simply doesn't spawn the bird then. I also attempted to kite the bird away, but it sadly has a 30-second or so living time.

Brilliant thought, but sadly no joy Any other thoughts?

No, does anyone else know one they can try it with?

I doubt it will make a difference as the message still says the creature is controlled, but if anyone can give it a shot? I don't have a priest buddy on Alliance
