Stable ideas for a maybe baby hunter?

That is a pretty cool stable name theme. I am horrible with names, and I got like... 30 something pets to name ><

I think the 7 deadly sins idea is intriguing though.. pets named after sins or vices.

I need a cat for Aylee as well. I have the ghost saber, but just doesnt click. Ive looked over the petopia list... nothing clicking yet. i think its not gonna happen until I see it in the wild but idk. keep looking i guess

Ok, so I'll make this as concise as I can so I don't take up a ton of room

Iraelia, a female Blood Elf Hunter, was widowed while pregnant with her twin daughters, Syrenah (Hunter) and Kiranaa (Paladin). Despite all odds, she raised them into fine young women, though they were far from alike. Kiranaa never outgrew the fantasies she had when she was young, and was attracted to the way of a Paladin. Syrenah, on the other hand, was the wayward daughter, always wanting to leave home for adventures, but never quite having the courage to leave home before coming to adulthood. Now, after the twins' 18th birthday, she is finally leaving for the adventures she's dreamed about. Her mother, Iraelia, is also returning to her own journeys as an ex-Sindorei ranger, still very much full of the fire and vigor she had when becoming a ranger, and hoping to help the Elves as much as she can.

That's all I have right now...Iraelia and Syrenah are my baby hunters, and I sort of have an idea for stable themes, but I'm not sure
All I know is that Iraelia will have a white wolf or cat, and the rest be themed probably (even if the theme doesn't contain the white critter). In the patch she is going to have the new braid hairstyle in white hair, and Syrenah...I'm not sure Any hair color will work, I just haven't found the right one yet

Very nice set up. I dont guess you have anything on the father or how he was killed? that can make for some very compelling story arcs and motivation for current character involvements.

I'm thinking he was probably killed by Alliance, thus leading to Iraelia wanting to avenge his death (I'm thinking about PvPing on her ) and the daughters being semi-afraid of them/hating them. Both girls wanted to meet their dad once Lia told them about him, but never got the chance because he was gone before they were born. So sad

And Kylah, I love your characters’ backstory very much! I feel so sorry for Iraelia, and the fact that her daughters never got to meet their dad is so sad I can’t wait to see pictures of them when you get the chance! If you’re going to be on a PVP server and playing lots of battlegrounds, the Alliance idea definitely fits in quite well! Having motivation definitely helps develop your characters, that much I can tell you for a fact Constantyne losing his father and Whitnee losing her family drove the both of them to where they are today, and in a way to each other as well. And, for another instance, Constantyne is terrified of secretly (VERY, VERY secretly) terrified of trolls because of an incident when he was a boy. It’s little things like that that can really shape your character.

I’m so glad I’ve sucked you into this oh so fun way to play!!!

(Keeping my fingers crossed I can start playing again sometime this weekend... I would love to get Costin up to level ten, just so I can show him off on the armory page :-p)

I actually have the first two cats on Salaina, with her black pet theme those other two, unfortunately are too high level for what im going for (probably topping these guys off at 70-72 for a while). HOWEVER you gave me an idea I may explore. Maybe mothers cat takes up with Aylee, motherly protective cat. I dont know, its an idea

I remember hearing about your sub problems, really hate to hear that :\ hope it works out soon, I wanna see Costin and his stable as you level him

Same with your family toons, Kylah. Putting a face on the characters (when they are high enough level for armory) is always cool

Oh, I love the idea of Salaina's cat taking up with Aylee! It seems so fitting, too - pets are such a huge part of hunters' lives, those hunters' children will be so very important to them, too. I'm sure that cat would be so protective of Aylee, and might bring Rendir and Salaina some peace to have such a longtime companion at their daughter's side. I'm fiddling with the idea of Whitney having had a litter of pups at some point, and each of Constantyne and Whitnee's children get one. I'm thinking:

or for Bastienne - not necessarily girly, but white fits with her theme the most.

And really, since their third child will have a stable of wolves, any of them would do!

When I first read Whitnee had a litter of pups and giving one to the children, I was thinking "wouldn't the pups be the children's siblings?"

Then I remembered Constantyne named a wolf Whitnee, and the light in my head went on xD

And those screens do look good, I especially like the one with Honor. Very cool theme indeed.

I have decided to write the intro to my characters, a bit of backstory on how they met and a little on Salaina's past. I will probably post it today sometime, I am wrapping up the details now so it may be a bit still. Im still a very novice writer, so it will no doubt be a bit clunky.

Haha! I’ve actually made that same mistake in my head more times than I’d like to admit, saying Whitnee and thinking of the wrong one and double-taking for a second In retrospect it was probably a confusing move, but I love the fact that Constantyne named his most beloved companion after his love. The sweetness overrides the confusion

Oh my gosh, I can’t wait to read!!!! Especially their first meeting – since that’s something even I haven’t ironed out completely yet. Please post when you’ve got it up

And Whitnee did change into a druid! The warrior gig just wasn’t really suiting her personality, I felt. I thought being a druid would not only fit in with her past as a farmer’s daughter, but make it even easier for her and Constantyne to connect via a shared link with nature. I thought it was a nice tie-in without actually making her a hunter, too, since their three kids are! I decided to go restoration with her because I just see her as a healer. After losing her family, even though she hungers for revenge, when it comes down to it she just wants all the death and destruction to stop. She doesn’t want to fight. Whenever Constantyne comes home injured, you can bet that she’s right there waiting to fix him up right again.

On the topic of specs, and I hope this isn’t stealing ideas from you too badly, but I decided that the three kids will all be a different hunter spec. Bastienne is the beast mastery hunter, the one who shares such an extraordinarily strong bond with her pets much like her dear daddy always has. Costin, ever the show-off, is a marksmanship hunter who is extremely skilled with his bow. And their unnamed, youngest, human daughter (I’ve got that much figured out – a human daughter just clicked, for some reason) will be the survival hunter. She is going to be the adventure-seeker, with all the spirit and ferocity of the wolves she holds so dear to her.

And dont worry about "stealing" anything, that is part of why I like talking about these things. Getting ideas and spawning other ideas is part of the fun. Go nuts! Although, I cant imagine how Constantyne and Whitnee do it with 3 kids, Ren and Salaina only have one and thats more than enough for them to handle

I really don't know how Const and Whit do it either, myself I have a feeling that their youngest is going to be their real spitfire. Maybe that's why they stopped? Though, for some reason I can see Constantyne having told Whitnee that they were going to keep trying until he got a kid that looked more like her

I finally got around to leveling Syrenah (The first of the three to be leveled) and got her to ten...Don't know what theme to do her stable in though

Oh, she is so pretty! I love that gear on her - I bought the same set for Costin, and it doesn't look quite so nice on the boys How focused do you feel Syrenah is going to be on avenging her father's death? I can kind of see her having some more fierce pets if she is super bloodthirsty. For some reason though, birds really seem to fit her in my opinion. A bird is the greatest representation of freedom, something I'm sure she feels as she begins off on her adventures away from home. Like maybe some of these guys:



Do any of them speak out to you? We will discover Syrenah's theme yet!

I was going to suggest a similar thing. What kind of personality do you see her having? You can start the theme from there, and as the character personality grows and evolves, so can the stable. Thats how I did Aylee, and she became quite well rounded.

Oh yeah, story part 2 is up. Had to break it into 2 parts, it was way long. I had to shave off the first portion, I explained how Rendir ended up in Un'goro in more detail, but ultimately it was unnecessary. so i just saved it off to a txt file.
