Stuck at campus waiting for my mom to pick me up (ihome is a 30 min drive from here and I lack a car >.<) so I'm waiting here and some guy gets out of the elevator. He's talking on his cell phone and says "What have you done with my wife?" I think that's a little odd but then he says "Oh... So what are you gonna do with her?" I try not to stare at this guy. The way he said these things was just rather humorous and a tad creepy xD

So now I am just sitting here wondering who he was talking to. O.o

Haha... One sided conversations can be so... odd.. when you don't know what's going on on the other side. Amusing though.

Also.. I want my osap NOW.. I wanna pay off my MC.. pay back my friend.. and get my new laptop :/ Not that I want to spend money.. but my netbook overheats to the point of locking up after just 5 minutes in my bag.. And shutting it all the way down, waiting in class til it's fully powered off (cause closing the lid before it is sometimes causes it to NOT shut down), just to walk to the next building right beside me, only to open it up again to study on my lunch, or for my next class is just... annoying.. and TOTALLY way too inconvenient... Just goes to show.. you can have a laptop that still functions after spilling water inside.. but it won't ever be the same

It's too EARLY! But.. I did get my OSAP today Unfortunately.. a lot of it is going to get spent Need a couple textbooks, and a new laptop... and pay someone back... Hopefully I'll make enough at my job to last me until next semester...

The first rehearsals of the show I'm Assistant Stage Managing are happening next week.

Guys, it's starting. It'll be a lotta work but DAMN I'm so stoked.

Hopefully, I can give the same response closer to the performance dates.

I should go study a bit. And clean. And I will, I just... don't want to start yet I'm sleepy.

On another note, I bought ALL my textbooks and my new laptop the other day So expensive... but it was needed. Now I have a laptop that's big enough I can actually make it my study/work computer... letting me separate my fun-time machine with my work-time machine. Already using that system has caused me to get SO much more work done yesterday morning than I normally would have... And the laptop WAS a good deal. But.. combined with the textbooks.. spending almost $900 in one day is not fun Definitely going to have to work as much as possible this semester... Hopefully my grades won't suffer

Chatting about tarantulas. Oh how I want more. Sadly most of my favourite species are just far too aggressive and high maintenance for me to take care of at this point, I wouldn't have the time to look after them properly. H. minax though, I would kill to have you. You sexy black tarantula you. Maybe some day in the future.

That's okay, I have my lovely old girl Shelob. She's a sweetheart. <3

I haven't seen this thread in a while, but I want to say how lovely those are. Haplo's are nasty buggers, though. I had a h.lividum that I literally would not touch with a ten-foot pole. Moving her from a small tank to a larger one was an utter nightmare.

My rat Biggs looks like he might be okay!!! He went from coughing and sneezing up all kinds of red fluid (it looked so much like blood but was probably just regular rat mucus [which has porphyrin in it which gives it a frightening red color]) yesterday to eating and drinking, grooming and being curious and cute today. Must have had a nasty cold or infection or something. Poor old guy. As old as he is, it amazes me that he's still going. He's probably one of my coolest rats ever!!! <3

Tickets for the Simple Plan, Marianas Trench, All Time Low concert go on sale tomorrow... and nobody will tell me if my mom is getting me some for xmas Concerts are.. Well, Marianas Trench is freaking incredible live. I've seen them twice and... seriously, awesome band, cool people. Meanwhile.. my sister "made" me buy her advanced ticket because her MC gift card wasn't working (she's going to pay me back, obviously).. so now I'm even more angry because I helped someone else get a ticket.. and don't even know if I can go... If i just wait til xmas to find out.. it'll be too late to get tickets (at least any worth paying for)... Plus, I don't have class til later tomorrow.. so I could TOTALLY go downtown early and try and get some as soon as the ticketmaster opens...(Or pay online and then go pick them up)

also.. I got grapes! Yay! And for a sale price that was over cause I was all "Oh.. My sister said they were on sale but I couldn't come yesterday cause I had class all day.. oh well..." and then the produce manager was all "Here, hang on a second" and went and got me some really nice fresh ones from the back for the sale price I don't know why.. but something about me makes older people want to be nice to me, and little kids ADORE me...

So, you know the potential romance that I was talking about earlier on this page? Well, turns out that he's absolutely head over heels for me, and I'm still all "Okay, let's see where this goes". To top it all off, one of our mutual friends grabbed me tonight at the Uni's open mic night and said, "Please don't break his heart". Well, great. I'm not sure if he's been harbouring these feelings for me for a while, or if I'm just a rebound from his last relationship.

I just don't know. I seem to have a bit of 'cold feet' syndrome when it comes to relationships.
