If you google Hexapos, you'll find one but honestly, just look at the maps and try and find the end where new tracks get put down, when you see them vanish you're at the wrong end of the trail! And just flare ahead, not on the last track you see. Good luck and if you let us know on which server on the Beta you are, I'm sure someone is happy to find a rare beastie with you.

I know what you mean Kalli, I havent found a trace of him on the Korean server which is odd.. I just got bloodtooth awhile ago and the server im on is really low pop. I wonder if the tracks are just too hard to see or maybe they took him out for a bit. Or.. we just keep misisng him
and dang... do I need more stable slots

There are loooooong stretches of his path where he doesn't drop tracks (hopefully not intentional....ugh), so I have no idea, honestly.

Yeah, I think I'll have those maps open in a tab when I go a-hunting, to help find the initial tracks...and for when I lose the trail. Especially since there may be stiff competition early in the expansion!

Considering this myself. I wanted to try and do it all by myself since I'm not even hunting them on the beta myself, but because of the competition, I might open the maps. I want Savage asap!

I *think* tracks may point in the logical direction now? Havent confirmed yet, but I got a feeling, tracking Blood turtle dude.

Edit: I think I spoke too soon. assuming they disappear from oldest to newest, they are disappearing in the illogical direction. Also found Bloodtooth, tracks point in wrong direction still.

When you first flare, it should totally catch them moon-walking, then they start walking normally :)

Patrannache looks at you quizzically over his shades.

Patrannache struts off normally.

You mean he goes on all sides? Good grief.. I dont like the sly fox side of doom and death.. ill jsut wait for him to path on the safe side. but I did just kill blackhoof with my awesome little turtle bloodtooth who tanked like pro. Though he only dropped the gloves no trinket and no bag of goodies..

So uh how visible are these barely visible tracks?

Yeah, Patty makes a big circuit on the west and central parts of the zone. And there are huge sections where he doesn't drop tracks. Sigh. :|

Yup! Hopefully it'll be considered beast-griefing on players rather than a feature. :)

MMmm.

I was tracking savage last night before the server went down.

Seeing it was my first attempt to track I failed miserably at it :P I kept running between two foot prints only.
at a point I saw an other hunter breezing past me so I followed it and I saw other foot prints. What I noticed is that
older footprints had a white mouse over text but just before the server went down one foot print showed yellow mouse over text? is this correct or did I imagine it. I could not check afterwards since the server went down for 5-7 hours but it has been bugging me :P

anyone can help this hunter out?

Edit: after the server restart I found Savage again. the footprint thing I imagined :P apparently the server going down and me finding his prints did a strange thing to my brain and I started seeing things :3

I found a decent line of tracks for Paza and was able to follow it even after a good strecth without tracks from Halfhill all the way to the heartland and headed up towards the singing marshes before I lost the tracks compleatly *sadface*

I think they have set the spawn timers to what they will be on live. I haven't found a single track since the patch.
