Chrominius (ID 50839) - level 49 Rare - Core Hound. Look: draekodonskinchromatic (same as Chromaggus). Location: he seems to do an entire loop of the circular road inside the mountain.

As you can see, you can find rares in old (1-60) zones pretty easily. Either that or I've been really lucky. I didn't find any new ones in Blasted Lands, but I did everywhere else I looked. So if you decide to log on you're almost guaranteed to find something new *

The macro for determining the NPC ID is: /run print("Target NPC ID:", tonumber((UnitGUID("target")):sub(-13, -9), 16))

Just assign it to a button and it's easy.

I've tried everything. I tried all of my old premades that were still on the realm, all disconnect at the 90% loading bar. I tried making fresh premades. I can't copy characters from the battle.net page because I get an error. I even tried making a new level 1 character and it still crashes at 90%.

Fresh 85s don't work for me. Nor do any other options. I've tried everything, believe me.

Trust me. It's not just US. I'm EU and having the same problem. It seems to be certain areas. Kura was fine when he was in Stranglethorn (other than the NPCScan crashes) but I couldn't log in once he was in Stormwind. My other characters (one in BEM and one in Ogrimmar) are blocked, but one in Eversong, I managed to get out and about.

The bad news: NPCScan is definitely breaking every time it pings something. Probably why Kura kept crashing; he was within range of a rare.

The good news: that doesn't preclude me doing it manually. Going to see what I can find today for a couple hours.

I started in Arathi, because I always felt like this place should have at least one tameable rare. And now it does: Swee: the armored brown boar (http://www.wow-petopia.com/look/boarski ... mored.html). He is located at Go'Shek Farm.

I still can't get over how many rares are being added, it's crazy. Seems my dwarf hunter is getting a new white pet. Scratch that, TWO AQ woulda been a nightmare for my alliance but another spot for the beetle? Score!

Very happy to see Gezz easier to access skin wise though, I never dared hand mine in so could help people out.
