A lot of 'alien' or 'foreign' words in WOW are just corrupted english words; kodo is komodo as in komodo dragon, tauren is from the word taurus, pandaren is from the word panda, rangari is from the word ranger. mulgore means to milk in latin etcInay wrote:I think it's more a draenei word. :p

Yes, but as of right now, it is solely used as a mob in the Seat of the Triumvirate dungeon. Most likely, it will be untamable, unless they place it as a seperate mob elsewhere.Zulmalakhan wrote:http://ptr.wowhead.com/npc=122407/warp-stalker

Come to think of it, the Panthara and Marsuul head designs are both extremely evocative of various Australian animals, and we are getting the 'Australian' themed puppy pets as well.pop wrote:A lot of 'alien' or 'foreign' words in WOW are just corrupted english words; kodo is komodo as in komodo dragon, tauren is from the word taurus, pandaren is from the word panda, rangari is from the word ranger. mulgore means to milk in latin etcInay wrote:I think it's more a draenei word. :p
Its big nose and large ears reminds me of a Koala but on a carnivorous marsupial body too; particularly either a numbat or a quoll.
We still don't have any marsupials in games; roos, koalas etc and an alien planet is a good way to introduce marsupialan family.
Omg this plzPopCulturePooka wrote: Is Argus going to be somewhat portrayed as 'Australia'?
