*Tires to imagine Tourist Drama*

"Could you please take me to the local bookshop?"
"I would, but alas I am dying of a terminal brain tumor and I am due to deliver my baby any second now."
"I don't care b***h, point me to the goddam bookstore before it explodes thanks to the terrorist bomb planted in it."
*clock counds down from 23:45:22 to 23:44:59*
As sand through the hourglass, so is the Days of our 24 Hour Lives

Or were you thinking something more along the lines of a greek drama? I can do that!

"I wish to see the temple. Can you take me?"
"I would, but Zeus has commanded me to slay my husband and my lover or else I shall be transformed into a banana slug. I must be going."
"You only think of yourself. I must see fifty random tourist traps or else my eyes shall turn into bats and then eat my own intestines."

... Sorry, I'm not helping. -.-

Ninja edit: And yeah, I couldn't help but include a Seventeen/Gamin pup. XD

*Cackles* If only we knew such varied vocab! Saturo, you're nearly correct. She said she looked at the embassy. The tour guide wants her to look around the city and her overall response is "NO U".

Ugh. Foreign languages. I take French (Awful at it, by the way.) and we occasionally have to do stuff like that. Recently, we have to write a six-ten page short booklet. I ended up wriitng it about a wolf who eats all the sheep when they refuse to be eaten.

Never liked that language myself. Don't like the sound of it.
Although that story sounds pretty cool. Yay, wolves!

Well. That's what our French teacher gets when she tells us we need to pick ten concepts and about half of them involved eating, crying, wolves and sheep.

Pair that to my twisted mind and you get the best child horror story ever.

I would love that.
Dramas aren't so fun, though.

There's like only ONE page of this whole thread that's actually on-topic XD

Speaaaaking of on-topic.... I has a new character! XD

Copper (Female Joltos (Jolteon/Rampardos hybrid)): Ghost Girl and Ironskull's daughter and Rust's younger sister, Copper is the opposite of her brother in many ways, including the fact that personality wise, she takes after her mother quite a bit. She's very stubborn, and gets annoyed fairly easily. In fact, she and her mother end up in arguments over even the smallest things sometimes. To say that she's a handful is an understatement. She's competitive and loves to win, hence she loves to play games where she exceeds, and will turn down ones that she's bad at. She gets immensely embarrased if she loses and will more often then not, yell at whoever she played the game with, throw a tantrum and then storm off. Despite all of this, she does enjoy playing with her big brother, even games that she isn't very good at. Copper's evolution was fairly unexpected, as her mother expected her to evolve into a Rampardeon like her brother, but when she evolved into a Joltos after coming in contact with a ThunderStone, she proved her mother pretty darn wrong. Like both her mother and brother, she has the ability to fade completely, and unlike Rust, has almost mastered it.

Bwahahahahahahah! XD

Don't...kill me, kay? I considered this for a while and the perfect name hit me a few minutes ago. >.>

Lyra: (Yaneevee (Eevee and Yanma hybrid.) Lyra is daughter of Soundwave and Solara. She takes more after her father and less after her mother in personality: Lyra is a very happy, very excitable, light-hearted little girl. She has the eevee body, with the dark green fur matched her father and a red ruff around her neck. She has her mother's stripes, which are red, as well as red spots down her spine. She has a pair of wings as well, looking like a yanma's would. Lyra does take her mother's fighting skill. She enjoys fighting as well and is good at it, and has her mother's phasing ability. She likes to strike with psychic and bug attacks, confuzzling her foe, then tearing them apart with claws as she dives down from the sky. She loves to make friends and is very trusting, and all around fun to be with. She loves to play games, and she loves to fly.

(Lyra is also a star, like Sol, (Sun).)

xD

I wanted someone to bounce out Sol's snarliness. I killed off Speck, but I've always had a concept of the yaneevee and psyega lurking in my head. So I figured Blood Games would be a great time. Lyra occurred after I was hunting down good names for stars, and realized, "Oh, duh. Lyra. >.>"

Biting the bullet and adding in a human character and her pokemon companion. Because I'm addicted to creating new characters, and I want to help out a little with the managing side of the Blood games. *flails about*

Zarre Thompson (Female Human)
One of the Poachers working for the Blood Games, Zarren is an expert marksman and tracker. Nothing excites her more than the thrill of the hunt, or the satisfation of the capture. She's almost never seen without her signature Pokemon by her side, althoguh she sometimes borrows broken Pokemon from the Blood Games to aid her in tracking a particuarly dangerous foe. She has also been known to organise other poachers for large hunts.
Zarre doesn't often participate in the blood games herself, when she does she tends to rely on combatants that she captured herself. She's a silent woman dedicated to her job, but she's not afraid to voice her opinions on a matter if she needs to.

Pulsar (Ungendered Magnezone)
A large and scarred Magnezone that has been at Zarre's side since it was an egg. Pulsar is quite unemotional, carrying out it's mistresses orders without word or complaint.

OK Ok you can stop nudging me now sis.

G'day! For those of you who have no idea who I am ... which should be almost everyone ... I'm Moonlosts brother and she's been subtly trying to get me into this for a few days now. So here I am .... *stops and looks around*. Wait a minute, where is the freezer filled with icecream sandwiches. Someones been telling me lies! This looks like some sort of roleplay forum thingy. Oh well that works too.

These are the pokemon I got ... (had to steal them from some tree guy!)

Narageth (Male Gigalith): Narageth looks and acts stoic but this is a front to hide his gentle heart. When he was caught for the blood games, his captors mistook his desire to protect his frends and family for rage and bloodlust. Since then he has only been fighting defensively or to protect others in group fights. Much to the frustration of his trainer.

Draxis (Male Gobitt): A young pokemon. Draxis is brash, foolhardy and quite energetic. The Blood Games is all he remembers yet he has magaged to some how keep his pure heart. He has found that he likes fighting but only with opponents that are equal or stronger that he is. He is more that willing to take a dive to prevent a weaker pokemon from being tortured for being unable to beat him. Although he also has a bit of a problem knowing when an opponent is far to strong to take and will keep on fighting until knocked out.

Kaitlynn (Female Abra): Curious and inquisitive is the best words to describe Kaitlynn. She has only been captured for a day or two now. Her trainer hoping to evole her up to make her into a more suitible fighter. So far all she seems concerned with is getting back to her home. Up until now she has never needed to fight before prefering to Teleport away form danger.
((Ok this pokemon I'm not to sure of. According to the online pokedex I've read Abra only gets one move - Teleport. I dont want to start evolving her up ... at least for now anyway. So I figured I'll just cheat a bit and let her use Kadabra's moves so long as no one is too worried about that. Else... well ... I guess thats what TM's are for :P ))

Why hallo, Moonlost's brother. I'm Azu. But only if Moon said good things about me. If she said bad things, then I'm not Azu.

And yes, I have a human as well...

Kerym Bane and Abyss: (Human and Murkrow) Kerym is also a Hunter for future Blood Game victims. When her family had been killed the Dusk, Kerym sees each catch as her own private personal revenge, for the slaughter of her family. A murkrow is always seen near her, never in a pokemon ball. Kerym is determined, she never lets a catch down. She has little regret for the pokemon she captures, and usually is grinning darkly with each catch. The only she really shows affection for is Abyss.

Okay, I have a few questions to ask here that are relevent to the current goings on. Mostly so we can get a few facts straight in the future.

1) How do the cages keep pokemon inside? They obviously stop moves such as teleport from not working, otherwise we'd have very few psychic pokemon in the games. Do the cages also prevent other moves from working?
2) What do the cages generally look like? What are they made of? I think everyone has a different idea right now, I like to think of a simple square barred cage, but I'm not sure that's right.
3) How do the locks work? I'm guessing just a simple lock and key, such as those in the stereotypical jail cell.
What I'd like to see is something a little more complex, perhaps a system where a masterball acts as the door into the cage. Say there's a little place to put the pokeball in which a participant was captured. Placing the ball in this slot releases the inhabitant into the cage, while removing it recalls pokemon back into the ball. XD

1) My guess is the material has some sort of Dark energy to it to mess with Psychic moves. It's also extremely strong and can handle a lot of stress. I say Dark Energy, because otherwise Sol and Lyra could've phased out a good while back.
2) I just see like in the kennels. Rows and rows of cells, really. Big enough to move around in, small enough that it isn't "comfortable."
3) I rather like that idea, really.

Sounds great to me. >.> I think things were suddenly very rushed.
I believe the rebellion right now will be squished soon enough, and they can get a better lock system in.
I like your idea by the way.
