But not all furries are THAT way. So you cant group them all together. There are those that just enjoy dressing up in the fursuits for the costume aspect.

I'll give you that - I have a friend who does that. She shelled out 2k for a state of the art dragon suit with moving jaws/eyes/ tail etc. Its quite impressive - She does kid birthday parties and makes a loooot doing so.

Pretty much yeah. She didnt think of it on her own really. She was asked by her aunt for her cousins birthday. Its good money for her she can make up to 500 bucks per party.

I got a note in DA from someone asking me no DEMANDING me to draw there furry OC I said no I don't feel comfortable drawing furrys and he sent me a friggen essay on why I should!

1) Furrys are not a race of people so stop acting like they are thats like calling someone who likes bondage a race.

2) You do not compare what furrys go thru to what BLACK PEOPLE WENT THRU IN THE U.S! I took history in highschool and in year 11 we did black civil rights in the U.S and I know for a fact furrys have not been hunted down and killed for being what they are. So stop acting like they have been it's insulting to black people.

3) Don't demand drawings from someone and then act sorry afterwards. It wont make me want to do anything for you and why should I? Your not paying me and drawings take time and paper is not cheap.

Yes there are actual people who are furries. Some people simply dress up as animals however and its perfectly innocent. And Cowmu while that may not have happened - people are often threatened/etc when they are different. This applies to races/sexes/ etc and even furries.

But comparing one's treatment as a furry to the way that my nation has historically treated those of African descent is very melodramatic, and as cowmu said, insulting. Furries were never slaves, furries never lived in perpetual fear of random lynchings, furries have never been persecuted, furries have never faced segregation, furries haven't been largely relegated to the lower socioeconomic class* - the list goes on.

*For anyone who doesn't know, if you want to find African-Americans, you go to the inner city of any major city in the US. It's at the point where the majority of students at public schools in major cities are black (not in the surroundings suburbs, mind you; those are a white as a bleached lab coat).

That is what I said.. While it is NOT as extreme ANYONE who is differently will be treated badly.(That is not to say anyone here would but the world is full of jerks who are intolerant) I said WHILE IT MAY NOT HAVE HAPPENED - people are threatened because they are different. And that statement is accurate no matter where you go. I didnt imply that comparing the two was right but I did state they do face ridicule and judgement as well and I'm sure threats of physical violence as well.

TBH thats how i see myself sometimes. Not all the time. Once in a blue moon i suddenly feel like my body isnt mine and that im stuck in it, forced to live in it. I lose the desire to do many things and become rather depresed, i even forget that i need to breathe and i'll just go about on my way for a minute or two and then start to feel faint and try to figure out why and realize that my lungs arent involuntarily taking in air and i need to force myself constantly to breathe in and out (and that is a huge chore when you feel like its not importaint but at the same time you know your gonna die if you dont). I feel like i do not belong on the ground whatsoever, i feel powerful but helpless and i feel like i want to rip myself apart so i can fly away. It happened enough times for me to realize that my inner persona seems to be that of a dragon, the power i feel is much much stronger then i could picture any other flying animal posessing.

Though when i read through that wiki description of both Therian and Otherkin, im more like the Otherkin and not a Therian

Now, back on topic cause we've strayed quite a bit and i dun want the Moderator noticing and coming in to reprimand us, haaaaaaaaaaang-oooooover.... -_- i didnt even drink a whole lot either... i drunk a couple coolers, went to bed, and im currently still trying to get my motor skills back and stop speaking gibberish and laugh hysterically afterwards. Only good thing going for me right now is i have enough sense in my brain to type properly and actually type what i specifically trying to say, though you will not believe how many words ive had to retype to finish this post, ive been at it for i dont even know how long now

its something that i dont throw out there because its so taboo but i dont go against furries whatsoever, and im saying this because we're on the topic and ive been really active here and i feel like i can be a little more open to what my interests and dislikes are without being judged. Im in heart an Otherkin (but im also furry, i just dont know anyone who is, they seem completely disgusted by the idea of furries) but if a conversation about furries, whether its safe and simple chat or more in terms of say, a more 'personal' interest that was not at all being spoken in negative terms was started, i would actively join.

if its true that the guys been studying the bible for 50 years and states the raptures tommorrow....I dont want to go to hell yet
let just say that Even though I beilve in the lord with all my heart for some reason I feel quezy about it? iv'e tried accepting jesus into my heart im just not sure if hes there yet....
and if its true the rapture happening tommorrow, well I better start reading the bible all the rest of the night, I want god to know that I love him, I dont want to burn in a pitch black fire full of negitive feelings for not accepting jesus...
