Editing myself after more reading...I can't really say I'm against the December event idea as a whole. I enjoy the festivals as is, but if the December one isn't just passing them out, well then I'm not against having a 'second try' each year/so on. I'd have loved a more detailed info post on the survey, and so linger in 'leave it alone' until I hear more. I'm okay with limited items and I enjoy having things to work toward each festival. There has to be things to work for because treasure is so easy to get.

I'd kinda like them to be something like...the coli chests during the holidays. It can be random which one you get. The chests are pretty rare and it'd come down to luck.

I want them to stay rare but if people can get them again I won't throw a tantrum. I joined in June and have every festival item so far, so I don't know if my opinion really means anything.

I'm all for people working for items, but you have to admit, the prices are pretty ridiculous for them.

Having a chance to get them again would be nice for the people who missed out.

Not saying I enjoy the entitled attitude some people have (no one here), That really bugs me, but what you gonna do?

That I wouldn't mind at all. Put them on a drop rate like the yetis/chests/crates and so on, and that would be awesome. It would keep introducing more on the site, but not in droves.

@Scarlet And yessss, the entitled attitudes are what's killing me (mainly on tumblr, but I've seen a few pop up on the main site).

I agree. I hope I didn't come off entitled. I just wanted another way to earn it that didn't cost me more than my lair's worth.

And yup, I get that. I love having harder to get items to work toward, but at the same time, I don't mind the chance to come up again to get them (kind of like the holiday items in WoW?) and yet still manage to achieve some level of rarity. But the attitudes I've been seeing a lot elsewhere have pretty much been, "I joined, I now deserve access to all the festival items cause it's not fair I had to miss them all. Those items should be available to me, now!" Saw it when I joined in April, and really hitting it now with today's survey. -cough- So I admit I came here a bit cranky about the subject, so I hope I didn't come off as too irritable.

Naw. Trust me, I saw some of the attitudes and I'm just like....*facepalm* Putting them in crates and chests would definitely give me incentive to grind Coli like the dickens. Right now I got very little incentive. XD

I am for letting people have another shot in December. I've never been much of a fan of the "retired" aspect that a lot of games seem to have. Promotes way to much "Elitist Jerk" attitude everywhere...maybe it's because I have a small kid and teach "Sharing is caring".
Market wise I can see how retired items can bring people lots more wealth...but I think that everyone deserves a -reasonable!- chance at things regardless of when they start playing the game.
(However items from the kickstarter I do think deserve to be limited, after all those people got FR off the ground!)

God I hope there's a big update this time, including lair space. I really think that one is long due. Would be cool with a tert gene complimenting the ripple/current genes too. *fingerscrossed*

Well I 'unno, it seems a little much to ask for big updates every other update. They do only have 4 admins to work on everything, and they probably have a backlogged list of things they need to release or update...

I mean ffs the Veteran's Scars and Darkened Scars still don't properly show on Coatls and it's been like that since the breed was released

Well, I think there's several months since the last big update, and the auction house update with the search for colours have yet to go live.. I am fairly sure I am not the only one desiring lair expansions either.

Edit: I do however understand that they have only so much they can work on at a time since they are so few, that's not what I was complaining about. I guess I was just too hyped up over the possibility for a new expansion, that's all.
