I thought those hair textures were night elf but... I guess they aren't. If that's true, then draenos are finally getting some hair tones that aren't muddy and it's about time. @_@ So tired of 'black, red black, muddy green, muddy blue, muddy gray, muddy teal...'

someday I'll find someplace to host a sig that isn't stupid money-grubbing photobucket

Yeah, but the ones with the doowibbly textures aren't. They're still a lot less dull than the ingame ones.

Their current intent is not to offer free re-customization. But they could change their mind, but don't hold your breath.

I was playing with the MMOC 3D modelviewer a minute ago (because the controls for it work on my default browser, unlike wowhead's) because I realized that my signature is grossly out of date, and noticed something very "classic cartoon wolf" going on with the exclamation animation for female orcs, haha. I wonder if it does that in-game or if it's a purely MMOC/third-party issue (I have to imagine the latter)? It's pure "awooooga" motion in action, though I don't have a way to gif it.

(linked because I can see it totally wigging someone out; if this were tumblr I'd tw: body horror it just in case, heh)

The more I look at the new models—both the ones they've officially previewed and the ones that have been datamined—the more something starts bothering me that I never thought would: EVERYBODY'S hands seem to be very puffy. I mean, large hands are one thing (and I happen to enjoy having hands and feet that are stylistically larger than in "real life") but I mean the contours on the fingers' pad side. They all seem... well, they seem bloated, I guess would be the best word for it. It made sense to me on the gnomes—they generally tend to be a lot puffier so they would have more stuff going on on their hands (they already do), but then it feels like they took gnome hands and gave them to orcs... and humans... and dwarves... and tauren. Not the night elves so much, but it's hard to see what's going on on the NE hands in the artcraft screenshots.

I'm a big fan of the male human, personally. I was worried they'd be too... rugged? Or too handsome. And they dodged past both of those without making them hideous, either- they just look very normal.

Of course, they're also only showing one of the face options and more will hopefully be on the way.

Looks a loooooot better, but he does reminds me of the human version of Shrek. I think it's the eyes and facial structure. There has been all but a riot about his nipples on mmo, kinda funny but then they are vastly different compared to the current versions.

I don't think I've ever played a human male, and probably won't in the future (wait I forgot about my one alt, so scratch that, but I still don't play them often ), but it's hard to criticize anything about these considering how bad the original models are. The face is...interesting, but the expressions look really great and versatile. I'll look forward to seeing what their other faces turn out like. The head still looks too small, though. The body's an improvement of course, though it's a shame they're still super beefy. I'm not surprised though, it doesn't look like they're changing body shapes with any of the revamps, nor does it look like they have any intention of putting in even a few different body types. Still! This guy's looking good, it's hard to mess that up looking at what they started with.

...With the new "gritty" looking face, though, the anime hair styles are going to look *ridiculous*.

I look forward to that.
