If the heals can't keep you alive, then that's not always the healers fault. YOU are the one pulling the entire fucking Cathedral. That's a little heavy for a low level healer, douchebag. Then you mouth off to me when I call you out on it and act like a badass. You're not a badass. You're a loser and a crappy tank. The heals was doing fine. You were not doing half the heals. He was doing 96%. You did around 30%. Pallies always heal themselves and are always top DPS. Why? They've always been OP at lower levels so stop bragging like you're some hardcore raider cause you're not, especially when you can't tank in SM Cathedral.

Mutter, was going to put this in the crappy groups thread, but realized that it was just one specific incident I wanted to rant about.

Two guildies and I queued into ZG, drawing a warrior and an elemental shammy. Our shammy immediately noted that the other shammy was normally a healer, based on his gear (this turned out to be dead accurate). His warrior buddy was half-decent and at least interrupted. So, we got to the snake boss and by a twist of terrible luck, ended up wiping due to two ill-placed beams; this is significant because it means that ghoul res is on cooldown for the second attempt. We learned that the warrior was definitely the one of the pair who was doing interrupts, since he died earlier than his shammy friend, who interrupted nothing. Second go, the warrior is lagging very badly and eventually d/cs. The shammy got targeted by the channeled spell twice in a row and died, since he didn't interrupt the cast. He started bitching at our shammy for not healing him. Annoyed by his gall, since this guy was doing crappy dps and wasn't even interrupting, I told him that if he interrupted, he wouldn't need heals. (I myself had interrupted one of the casts, but was still on cooldown for the other.) This fine example of a human being called me the female c-word and said I should shut up and heal him. Bemused, I then informed him that I was the hunter. He then proceeded to spew out a bunch of drivel about hunters getting owned by dks in PvP and other such stupidity. I tossed back my own counters (most of which involved his 2-6k dps) while dodging all the usual fun stuff on that fight and continuing to dps. We successfully finished three-manning the boss, then kicked the jackass and his buddy - the latter of which hadn't done anything bad, but who had been d/ced for several minutes. We ended up picking up a mage and another resto-shammy-rolling-as-elemental, but they were much better players. Woo for them!

So yeah, screw you, anonymous terrible shammy. I only wish I had gotten your name so I could have armoried you to see your terrible arena record. NEVER mix and match PvP and PvE "skill" arguments, since you always end up looking like an ass. Also, you don't get to brag like you're all that in PvP if you're sitting there in blues getting carried in PvE. The good PvPers I know are good at PvE because they pay attention to their surroundings and know their classes....they just get bored by PvE sometimes. If you were worth your salt, you could do better than that.

There are some people I like there, even a whole sketch swap thread of people I love, but I'm sick of it. Never before have I encountered someone refusing to pay for the art they have recieved, and now I have someone ignoring all PMs I send trying to resolve the matter. I don't even really want the item that he'd said he'd pay with anymore, since I've been away from that site for so long. But I have my pride, god dammit. I don't want to drag GMs-- oh crap, they're not GMs, whatever-- into this, but I feel like I'm probably going to have to.

Sorry for the language. OTL This is pretty much the only place on the internet I feel safe enough to get rage-y anymore. Gaia used to be that place, but it's a shithole now and has been for a long time. Or at least the places I chill have been. Ugh, this sucks.

EDIT: i swear to god if the stupid bird who's been tapping on the window all day comes back again i will kill it with my sonic screwdriver. i'm not usually hostile to animals but constant tapping from five am to ten pm? bird is dead.

On-topic and still related to Ponies, I have more art to do. I like having stuff to do, but I'm super crampy and achy and I just want to eat my damned carrot cake and curl up in a ball...but my commissioner has had a rough week and I really want to cheer him up, so to the tablet I go.

So I can't hurt it, it can't hurt me. So I get to spam tackle until it runs out of PP and uses Struggle. I was winning against Morty too....;_;

Stumbled across the worst example of human beings I have ever seen yesterday. Some forum dedicated to 'independent men' - some thinly veiled, half-assed disguise for the worst hive of misogyny I have ever seen. I thought they were joking at first, with some nutcase spouting off about how women have no souls, how they have tiny, walnut-sized brains and as thus are incapable of love, only care for themselves and would never take a bullet for a loved one.

And then I noticed everyone agreeing with him, and it made my stomach turn. It was almost like watching a train wreck - 20-50 year old men full of nothing but vitriol and hate for women - but not sex! No, they still got laid, but these weren't women, just walking sex toys, after all, women are nothing but. No desire to have children or a wife lest she lord over you and turn you into a 'mangina', something to be mocked and ridiculed. Every man on that forum had been let down by some woman somewhere and it showed. Every word was so bitter.

I've honestly never felt worse. It frightened me*, really, and I know I should have stopped reading but I comped thread after thread and read piles of their words and it just seemed profoundly sad. I wanted to wonder what caused them to think this way and maybe even pity them, but the feelings for the people themselves just wouldn't come. These aren't even people to me anymore, and I know if I considered them such it'd just make me more upset than I was.

It'd be just as bad if it were women making the comments about men, or gays about straights, or blacks about whites or any group against another. It completely mortifies me. I'm not the nicest person in the universe, but the concept of a world powered by nothing but hate and contempt is something I never, ever want to imagine.

* I guess the idea that so many men on this planet apparently think the same way kind of makes me worry. I know Ryan isn't that way, nor are any of my male friends, but the fact that people like that exist and I could run into one...

I...I dont want to say, being a teen I alreadly thought I was afraid of guys just dating you to please their hormones but this is utterly awful. Why would anyone. ANYONE even think that way? everyone has feelings and souls...I really wonder what the worlds gotten into
