Rise of the Shadows!

Ironskull woke up with a big yawn. He gave Rust a nuzzle, then realized.....where's Ghost? He looked around the cave, giving a whimper.

[Senna-Umbreon]

Rust blinked up at Iron, tilting his head. He mimiced his dad by also looking around the cave. When he turned to look behind him, he squeaked loudly as he realized... His tail was invisible?

Iron looked down at Rust, his eyes widened when he noticed the missing tail. He pointed at it and gave Rust a puzzled look.

[Senna-Umbreon]

Rust titled his head at the place where his tail would've been. He poked the area with a paw, then squeaked as he felt the familar soft fur of his own tail, "Meep?"

Ironskull then remember.....Ghost could fade out! That was happening to Rust!

Iron scratched, "Its ok son....you just inherited a neat trick from your mom!"

[Senna-Umbreon]

Rust tilted his head again, "Meep?" He then looked back at his tail, which was now, thankfully, visible again. "Meep!!!" He squeaked, hugging his tail.

((Somehow I imagine this was kind of how Ghost reacted when she first discovered her ability... XD))

Iron tilted his head as Rust's head was missing, he scratched, "Uhhh....son...."

[Senna-Umbreon]

((Oh dear, this is just hilarious XD))

"Meep?" Rust blinked, then squeaked loudly again as he noticed.. Hey.. Where was.. Every other part of him? He was gone! AAAHHHH!!!

((.. I'd SO pay ANYTHING to see how Ghost first reacted to fully fading.. It would've been the most hilarious thing EVER XD))

Iron felt around until he felt his son's soft fur. He lifted the baby and held it close to calm it down.

[Senna-Umbreon]

Rust flailed around for a while until he finally reappered fully, "MEEP!!!!"

Iron wished he knew how Ghost did it. He sniffed around....where is she?

He grabbed a berry and held it to Rust.

[Senna-Umbreon]

Rust quickly nommed the berry, squeaking happily. He then looked up at Iron, tilting his head, "Where mommy?"

((Oh Rust.. You and your habit of randomly talking XD))

[Magnakilro]

Iron scratched, "I don't know....I'm tempted to go find her but....I don't want to just leave you here...."

Arrrghh....what should he do!?

[Senna-Umbreon]

Rust looked around the cave, then scampered over to where Rikki was. He sat down beside her, "Meep!"

Rikki, who had recently woken up, blinked at Rust, "Oh, hi there little guy. What's up?" She threw a questioning look at Iron.

[Magnakilro]

Iron scratched, "Ghost is gone...we can't find her....she might've left the cave...."

[Senna-Umbreon]

Rikki facepawed, "We have got to know the most troubled Eeveelutions in the whole world..." She sighed, "Well, you'd better go look for her. Knowing Ghost, she'll get into trouble in some way or form. I'll keep an eye on Rust while you're gone."

[Magnakilro]

Iron bowed in thanks. He gave Rust a nuzzle and scratched, "I'll be back son....I love you!"

With that, he left the cave in search of his wife.

[Senna-Umbreon]

"Meep!!" Rust squeaked as he watched his dad leave. He then scampered over to Chomp, "Meep!!!"

Ghost finally stopped running. She now stood in a small clearing out in the forest. After staring up at the sky for a bit, she leapt up into a nearby tree, lying down on one of its branches and falling asleep, fully faded just in case someone managed to follow her this far.

[Magnakilro]

Iron searched the forest, he roared a bit to see if Ghost would hear. He hoped the Dusk didn't hear him.

Chomp placed a hand on Rust's head, "Don't worry kid....Iron will be back...and he'll have your mom with him!"

[Senna-Umbreon]

Ghost's ears twitched at the sound of distant roaring, but she remained asleep.

Rust squeaked, then started running in a circle around Chomp, "Meep!"
