I took home Solix. He was up for like 20 mins. No one wanted him.

I tried to rehome Solix (wrote about that in the Consolation Corner) to a hunter that I had helped tame Anthriss a week or so ago. Didn't work, Solix died so the hunter left, upset with himself. Not even 20 minutes later, I was camping Skarr/Karkin when Kirix pops up behind me. I whispered that hunter back and brought him up to Kirix. I couldn't land on the rock for the life of me, I fell through every time, he landed on it successfully however. He lagged during his first try so he died but the second try went flawless He was very appreciative!

Rehomed Gondria to a hunter that wasn't spec'd into BM, but had it as her second spec. I told her just put in random points until she got down to the talent to be able to tame Exotic pets. She did so, and tamed Gondria. The end. Gondria was walking around all alone out there....poor purple kitty.

Another Sarantha rehome! This time via Ellysetta, my alliance druid. I helped a fellow alliance hunter tame Deth'tilac via rooting and occasionally sacrificing myself to Deth to drop his health. Afterward, she was so happy and even offered to pay me. I said of course not, I don't take money! Its like, my JOB to rehome rares! Aria, I hope you enjoy your Deth! I tried my best to make sure he didn't die on you and you got him!

I helped rehome a Deth today :3
I saw a hunter in front of Deth, and offered to help. I think he was suspicious at first (people on my realm have been pulling tames off of people, so I could understand WHY he was). We got Deth to 20% after I comitted suicide if you should say. (ran in, got Deth shot, died) Then this other hunter came in, and started interupting the other hunter I was helping's tame. I swear to god, that it was a pure miracle that Deth moved to the hunter I was helping's side. He was at 10%, and there were, four? other hunters surrounding Deth and him.
Happy ending, hunter I was helping got his deth, and now he returns to camping his Skarr.

Not an intentional rehome, but I logged in from a long day of shopping (blarrgh) and Deth'tilac was literally on top of me, and as usual no one was even bothering with him. So I /who'd the hunters in Molten Front, picked the first one besides me to appear on the list, and she wanted him but was afraid to try without help cuz she heard he's so hard. I told her I would help. So I helped, we failed a few times cuz she didn't know the tame. A hunter in our channel offered to also help, and eventually she got Deth, much to her delight. Kinda made me feel a little better.

She ended up joining our channel, so we got another rarecamper too!

Man 2 Skoll Rehomes and a Banny Rehome in the last 2 days I'm awesome.

Day 1) Just using the old Northrend wormhole looking for a Time Lost when I run into our big blue friend ask in general I'm the only one in the zone... , well okay then. I ask in guild and a hunter asks to tame I summon he switches specs still drops the trap like the old days and hes got himself a new blue friend yay.

Day 2 or today if you will) Log in I'm in Molten Front hawkeye too see Skarr getting tamed by a guy whos guildie I helped with Karkin the other day. Zone out turn around and poof theres Banny I ask guild no one cares, ask that hunter and his friend comes and get banny after using scattershot in the air to break the spam rather risky there. A horde hunter who was pissed tried to kill him after he had tamed him so all three of us blew him too bits.

Oh but theres more! I use that good old wormhole again and there he is in the same damn spot as yesterday Skoll I tell hunter who didn't get Banny(I was always talking to him anyway) and he responds with "WTF Seriously Jesus!" I'd take a guess he needs new pants at this point. He respecs,I summon he even asked if there was anything to know and I just told him to hit tame. 10 seconds later another happy hunter with a new blue friend!

Yesterday helped twice to get Deth a home :3

The first one was really hard to find someone, cause i asked a hundred times in general and Gchat, but no one wanted him when i was about to leave, a hunter runs at the speed of light to Deth's spawn point, asked him if he wanted him, well, he said yes and we started to kite him easy kite And, then he opened a trade with me and gave me 2k gold :O -since im really poor right now, i had to accept, and now, i feel guilty-

The second time it was around 3am, and asked in general, then i asked in Gchat, and a hunter says "ME!!" ok, he was excited xD invited her, and he came super fast here. She started to kite, and almost reset him, but i say "hey, stop! hes gonna reset!", i get aggro and kite him back to the other corner... rinse and repeat... when he was at the northern corner again, the other hunter was in south, and i suddenly saw a flying thing... i was like "oh... whats that flying *OH CRAP!*" yeah, that was the other hunter, falling... i laughed, and died cause deterrence wasnt ready
We came back, kited again and happy tame
Then, we started to talk about hunters, and i Eagle eye to the Spiders spot, to then eagle eye again in Anthriss' spawn point, and suddenly, the other hunter said "i cant get Kirix... he just so hard...", i asked him if he wanted one of the little ones instead of Kirix, he accepted and tamed one the cutie little fluffy spider :3 (yeah, i act like a fangirl when i see these spiders )

Unintentionally rehomed Skarr, Magria, and Solix. They were up and I was in the area. I just helped and no one ganked. Happy day!

Well I just rehomed my 3rd Skoll, damn you wheres my Time Lost!

Then for about an hour I fought horde trying to get another hunter Kirix but when its 5 on 2 and the other hunter can't pvp for beans some orc ends up walking away with him.

And now for some sleep.

Rehomed Deth last night to a hunter who thought he was too hard to tame. With my help, he got Deth, even with two alliance hunters watching and waiting to gank (I know from the rude emotes afterward thats what they were wanting to do). I told him to stop dpsing when Deth got low and just start spamming tame and I would take care of the traps and dps. It worked and he got himself a lovely purple spider.

Tried to rehome Kirix, but the same hunter who took home Deth became discouraged over the big green guy's face eating abilities and gave up, allowing some Night elf to tame him.

One of our guild hunters went home with Arcturis the other day after I saw him up while flying to an archaeology dig site. Briefly thought about taming him myself, but I'd just tamed Loque the night before...no need to get greedy.

I attempted to rehome a banny to a hunter, but he wasn't "Phased" with the area where banny spawns. Instead, a troll hunter tamed him. I was happy that he got Banny, and it wasn't killed by a druid trying to gank, but sad that the other hunter didn't get banny.

My boyfriend doesn't think very highly of 'rare collectors' and jokes frequently about playing a 'rare hunter' - but when we stumbled across Zaricotl while leveling, his reaction was a little different. :P

He hasn't played a hunter since BC, and so he went "omg want!" and then "how do i?" immediately after. I walked him through the tag/trap/tame thing and- well:

Rehomed Deth'tilac again. Was on my hunter, asked the channel, asked general, no one wanted the big purple guy. So I logged over to my alliance DK in the Molten Front and general'd it. It turned out there was not even a single alliance hunter in the Molten Front. So I just ran over and sat next to Deth and kept him company on my draenei DK, when a troll hunter suddenly shows up.

At first, he makes some puzzled and confused gestures at me, as if he thinks I'm waiting for someone to tame Deth. I /shrug and /no and he starts the tame. I root it with chains and summon my ghoul and army of the dead. This knocks his health down a good deal. I root Deth again. The troll hunter tries to run around Deth, lags, and dies to Deth Strike, lowering his health more. He's still not at tamable health. I keep Deth rooted until the troll gets back and rezzes up. He rezzes, but Deth has his aggro on me. I /sigh and root Deth, run in and die, and run back to find that the troll has tamed the purple people eater! I /cheer him and log back to my orc hunter, where I tell him I wasn't trying to gank Deth and that the draenei was me and I was helping. He thanked me a lot and said he thought he lost the tame when he died. I was glad I kept Deth rooted for him!

ONCE AGAIN rehomed Deth via my DK and army of the dead. To a horde hunter. He was confused as to why alliance was helping until I logged into my hunter and told him I just like rehoming things.

Also rehomed Solix via my alliance druid to another horde hunter. She knew who I was this time, though, and actually asked for my druid's help in rooting Solix. She tamed him easily and Solix didn't even touch her or break out of roots.

Rehomed Karkin via the channel and just saying "Karkin is up". Someone came and got him.

Good day for rares so far.

Edit: Also found Gondria while flying around NR. Someone in channel wanted her, so I summoned him right to me and he tamed her. So yay for rehoming day!

Rehomed Ban'thalos via my mage. I landed on the tree-top-pixel that the hunter in question couldn't manage to do, I summoned him to me using the guild perk "Have Group Will Travel", he dropped trap, tagged Ban, dropped, tamed. We win! Another win for Team RareCampers!

Also, in a rare alliance version, helped a dwarf tame Skarr by telling him "silence the Fieroclast". Not too dramatic, but he was excited with his first rare ever, he said, and thought Skarr was "soooo cooool".
