Re: Tamable Mushan
The fear would be the only possibly workable ability. The ONLY reason that Worms and Chimaera have a 'straight up dps attack' is because they are Exotic--take away exotic, and you get no damaging abilities. Zero, zilch, nada.
I think I'd like to see more -armor and/or +physical damage debuffs, or a stamina buff...although they may want to reserve Fortitude and Kings for Exotic as well.
Edit: I must note that those damaging abilities are on a long cooldown and require a manual keypress on the part of the hunter to trigger, preventing Worms and Chimaera from becoming the 'new wolf.'

The long cd would be more or less to keep it in check compared to worms/chimeras aoe.
As far as functionality, I macroed frost storm breath with multi shot when I used a chimera, but I use my worm more now so it's a bit more tricky. I have burrow attack hot keyed to an accessible key so I have no problem when he's in position.

I think itd be kind of fun if they had a knockback XD Like Miss Fanny in Valley, who punts things to farms for fast delivery, then punts you onto a giant Kuchong XD

A lot of Mushan Beast in the wild (Not So Fun Fact: They are apparently going extinct, there numbers are declining) have a knock-back. I wouldn't be surprised if Blizzard gave them a knockback as an ability!TheDoomcookie wrote:I think itd be kind of fun if they had a knockback XD Like Miss Fanny in Valley, who punts things to farms for fast delivery, then punts you onto a giant Kuchong XD
Punt - Your Mushan Beast swings it's tail at the target, making them fly back 20 yards. Can also be used to hit vegetables at unsuspecting Vermin.

My point stands, a damaging skill would be Exotic. Those two families' extra Exotic utility is that of a bit of extra AoE.swimgremlin wrote:The long cd would be more or less to keep it in check compared to worms/chimeras aoe.

Sorry guys, it turns out they were mistakes and not meant to be tameable. I have word they've been fixed and will no longer be tameable soon.
