Am I the first to make this public? Will I get shiny credit/acknowledgment for discovering? I'm just excited to see the MoP tracking tames back tbh!

I haven't heard of anyone reporting this. It was datamined by Wowhead I think, but nobody has found it in the wild (to my knowledge).

The database lists "same model as" a mob named Rush. Looking up those names together, it seems they're taken from robot canines in Mega Man games, which I'm not familiar with:

Yeah, I had no idea, but the names seemed unusual enough (instead of the usual "Lupusmechanicus" pseudo-Latin stuff) to warrant checking

I've added it to the list in the OP. I haven't added other Broken Isles stuff yet, since they'd only have to be checked all over again once the scaling tame bug is fixed, but this one is pretty special

So, more details: It's like the MoP Tracking Rares, look for it's "footprints" AKA "small puddles of oil", just like the MoP tracks.

If its like the MoP ones, you can hunters mark it and follow it to get its exact path. Its tedious though, especially for long or erratic routes. I would if I was in *grumble grumble* Edit: Do we even still have an on demand hunters mark? Path mapping will be interesting if not!

No Hunter's Mark unfortunately, for Surv at least. He can be trapped in freezing trap even while stealthed though, which makes things a little easier. Still rather annoying, but that's the thrill of the hunt or something.

All of these new pets are amazing, but if at some point the Mandragoras from Warlords ended up being tameable, I would be able to die happy.

I mean, we have ghosts (Spirit beasts), demons (Felboars, possibly those new spiders and basilisks), robots (mechanicals woo), pure magic (Mana Wyrms and Serpents), statues (some scarabs, jade panther), minor gods (Loque'nahak, Pogeyan, etc), abominations (Chromaggus and Chimaeron), and elementals (Fire spiders and arguably Terrorpene). What harm would adding Mandragoras, which are essentially plants with the mindset of beasts, bring?

To Shem: I know we are a subset of a subset of the player base, so thank you sincerely for doing extra to make us happy. Wish there was a more substantial way to show appreciation!

Oh. My god.

Ok look, I'm a lurker here, I nose around for news quietly in the background but. I gotta speak up for this.

Shem, I hope you know that you just made me shriek and flip out and maybe cry a little. I happen to be a HUGE Megaman fan, and Forte/Bass happens to be my favorite character, and most of the time HE gets forgotten, never mind his robot dog. A mob named after Rush alone I wouldn't have been too surprised by. One named after Treble has just about brought me to tears of friggin joy. Please accept all of the internet hugs forever from me!!

...I guess it's time to remake that one cosplay alt and get his butt leveled, huh?
