'An ending not so final', the tentative title of my novel. *Chuckles* Okay, that one doesn't count, since I am editing it. I think I might pick up The Redemption of Althalus by David and Leigh Eddings again, love that book.

Been reading Tintin alot.
It's an old french comic, kinda hard to explain... it's not exactly super-hero type, but, meh... IDK.

It's a little dated... and there's things about it I don't like, but it's okay.

I'm in the middle of the Weather Wardens series by Rachel Caine. It's not at all like I expected, and way, way better than the Dresden novels even though that's what it consistently gets compared with.

My dorm building is currently nearly empty and very creepy, so I ran out and picked up a book to read to steady my nerves. It's the first book of the Dresden Files, which people have been recommending to me for a while. It's very good; I haven't had the opportunity to read a lot of contemporary fantasy and this is a nice change of pace :)

The Dark Hunter Companion for the...good lord, tenth time? I like brushing up on the history of my favorite romance novels before I read them over again.

Other than that I've got Harry Potter to amuse me when I need to take a break from the romance, or the Eragon series when I finish Harry Potter...for the tenth time..wait, no...fifteenth? I don't get new books often.

I am currently reading "The Dragon Reborn" by Robert Jordan. It is the 3rd book in the "wheel of Time" series.

I was reading Eragon because I was reeeeeallllllly bored, though I'm pretty sure it's for younger people (though I'm not old) and it only took me and 1 hour and 1/2, and I was reading slowly...

Zanidar: The first book can have that effect. Try reading the second and third book too. The writing in them is far superior.

The thing about the Eregorn series is that the author was 16 when he wrote Eregorn.

To be honest, I've been stuck trying to read the Eldest for what, two years now? Maybe it's just me getting super bored of the mass fantasy, but I just can't be arsed to finish the book. :P I really enjoyed Eragon, though.

Maybe it's the movie.. It was the only movie I've ever wanted to walk out of because it just sucked SO bad. -.-

You gotta' be lying! That movie was awesome! I mean, the dwarves really looked like real dwarves! And the dragon insta-grew up, and they skipped all the hassle with making the story fit!

That's moviemaking at it's finest.

I could never get into the Eragon novels at all. :/ It's really awesome that the author wrote them at such a young age, but despite that I just did not find them appealing in the least.

That was painful, that movie. The first book really showed the beginning of his style, and him learning. He eventually grew out of his baby steps, as it were, and went on to get much better.

I know I can go back to some of my earlier stuff, and I just shake my head at how different it is from how I write now.

Also, I completely agree with you thee, Veph.

Aaah, good book, good book! The early books in the Wheel of Time series are always my favorite. Towards the end he gets so muddled up in his own universe it's way too easy to get lost, but his earlier novels in the series are quite entertaining.
