yep indeed, they made a quest so you can tame one not one you want but one that you get from quest ^^ mmm you know what I mean? :)_

Starting to worry about him now, this is 2 times I have tamed him, but when loging back on, i don't have him in either active or main stables. Anyone else notice this? Last test was like 10 min ago , tamed him, loged on my horde huner, tamed the new rare in Tanaris, loged back on Alli Hunter and pow, spider came up whn called pet, and he was gone... Flew to stable master and not in stable either

Logged on this morning to a dead Grunter right in front of me...

Still trying to see if a Grunter tamed on live now will revert to Helboar Grunter when the character with him is copied over to the beta...

I normally wouldn't bother this much with a boar pet, but I am trying to tame him for two reasons... one is for the copy test, and the other reason is for my character not having to do it post-Cataclysm.

I am not trying to see if Grunter is still around in beta... I am curious if Grunter from live will convert to a Helboar skin if you copy a character with him over to beta.

I already have Helboar Grunter from the beta, but I tamed him on the beta.

I am not the only one curious about this... I see no need to camp Grunter on live if he stays as a black boar after Cataclysm. I, and many others, will just wait til Cataclysm and get the new skinned Grunter.

As far as I know, no one on this forum has tested Grunter out like I did Soriid, and I only know of one person who has a black Grunter and has beta access.... and I don't think she wants to use up another copy character to test it. Which is very understandable.

I would do it, but I don't have a slot left on my live hunter. ;( I hve all 4 spirit beasts and will NOT let them go. and the only other slot is the one im testing at the moment once we can copy again.

Because thats in Vashjir, you just have to follow the quest from the ship and you will get there.

Yeah, but there are more interesting things to tame now... especially since Blizz hasn't fixed boars yet.

Hmm... I was able to get Grunter on my 80 Orc (goodbye Arcturis), but I have been trying for several days to get him on my other hunter that isn't an Orc so I can test the skin change out on beta...

Anyone else on beta that knows if the male Orc Hunter character select freeze is still happening... or is that just on premades?

I just tamed Haarka, and I have Soriid and Grunter on the same hunter. I was about to try a Copy Character and the World server went down...

If it comes up pretty quickly I can test it tonight, if not it'll be tomorrow.
