The new MoP families have emotes. They are not the best emotes in all cases, but they are decent enough to use and will improve with time. Goats are looking pretty good, thanks to Varethyn tho

I have not done the new warlock minions yet. I will try to have to those done before MoP (I know, they're already out, but *shrug*)

As usual, the zip file is on the first page of this thread.

BTW, Please tell me if the new emotes work on families you can test them on currently (basilisk, water striders) because, since the Editor can't be updated anymore, I had to take a somewhat unconventional way of doing things. Please tell me they work....

Cause its written in some kind of programming language that Efindel can't work with. By the way, there's been zero feedback. Does anyone like the emotes for the MoP families? Do they work? Any feedback?

Oh yes, I've been meaning to post about them!

I've been loving the new emotes! I've seen the water strider, quilen, porcupine, crane, and goat emotes. I think the goat ones are the crowning peak I've seen thus far - they were a joyful surprise. :) The porcupine and crane emotes are solid, very fitting. Water Striders do a good job of walking the line between sporewalker and regular strider.

Quilen emotes have suited Hippomenes perfectly, as he's turned up his nose at returning to stone quilen form (thank goodness), but for everyone else's quilen, they're a bit problematic in that some emotes seem to be specifically for stone quilen (standing still like a statue) and others are aimed at organics (tossing mane, hunting for food). Much as they amuse me in how fitting they are for my boy, I just had to say something on behalf of everyone else's. xD

Oh, I did catch a small bug! Hippomenes (quilen) will try to target someone with emotes when I'm not targeting anyone and it'll give <no target>.

Sorry about the lack of replies, my guild's been pushing me to get to the best point possible so we can start raiding next week so I haven't had the chance to test them.
I did notice that one or two of the goats' at least have an extra space between words, and one of them was set to "her" only but my goat is most definitely male xD

And Toph, the new emotes are attached to the very first post of this thread :)

No, not the new emotes. The addon itself. If there's an updated version of the addon itself, I haven't been able to find it to download it.

Welcome Goat! <3

You're welcome, Toph! :D

And thanks for reminding me - I did see the basilisk emotes when I still had Pygmalion and also thought they suited him perfectly. :) Very solid!

Ugh sorry. All this intensive levelling killed my brain... I really don't know how people manage to do it so fast.

They work nicely from what I've seen so far, though I've noticed a few gendering errors with Goats (males having some emotes say "her" and vice-versa).

Just wanted to stop by and say I cannot get enough of the Water Strider emotes. They're so freaking cute! <3 (I also like the Crane ones, from what I remember of them during the short time I had one. XD)

Another minor quilen bug:

Hippomenes sits still as a statue new subordinary emote.

Well, it's either a typo someplace or Hip is griefing again. xD

I think the new emotes are very charming as a whole! I've been enjoying most of them a lot. ♥ There are a few things that bother me a bit, though. First, a purely mechanical issue, my male goat consistently tosses 'her' head, though all of his other emotes seem to be fine. Second... personally, I'm not too fond of the way my pets are suddenly emoting anxiety or uncertainty left and right when they're supposed to be happy, according to my settings. :( It's particularly troublesome when emotes combine so that my pet does something anxiously and then does something else contentedly in the same line. Perhaps 'restlessly' or something like that would work a little better? I feel like it has a slightly wider range of potential meaning.

Something else that cropped up with the goat emotes is that scratching any body part with their horns seems....awkward, if not physically impossible. ;)
